Great stay!

I have stayed at this property 3 years in a row, and always have a great stay! The staff are extremely friendly, the rooms are comfy and air conditioned, and the property itself has loads of charm. It is very central within Sitges, about 5 mins from the beach and also the train station, as well as near loads of bars and restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here!

Exceeded expectations

Nice old building, friendly staff. Outdoor breakfast self serve buffet is excellent - vast choice of freshly cooked hot food as well as fruits, pastries etc. Very good coffee machines. Common areas in the building are very nice and atmospheric. Room a bit dated and very basic - our 3 bed family room was quite spacious but the main window looked out of the side roof over the air con units etc, however the room was cool and quiet which made up for lack of view. A little expensive for the basic room provided, but overall the hotel did exceed expectations as it was quiet, very well located within easy reach of everything, the staff were friendly and efficient and the breakfast was exceptional.

We enjoyed out stay in Sitges where the hotel was central to restaurants and bars, close to the beach and handy for the train station. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast every morning was superb, couldn’t fault it. Hotel lobby and communal areas were spotlessly clean. However we were very disappointed with our room 🙁. We booked a standard double which was very small and not aesthetically pleasing- didn’t feel I could unpack and use the drawer space which was very old and shoddily painted over with some gloss paint. The extra blanket, packed in a plastic bag, for hygiene reasons, was covered in long black hairs obviously from a previous occupant. No room to store case so this was left on the floor the whole time. The bathroom floor tiles were covered in a layer of dust and the sink had very recently been sealed with grouting, not sealant, which kept chipping off every time we used it then trodden in to the bedroom. Can’t speak for other rooms but avoid room 125. Such a shame the room let our holiday down.

The breakfast is incredible. The people who work there are all kind and helpful. The property is beautiful, beds are comfortable, the rooms are quiet. Two blocks from the train station and very close to town and the beach.

Not what we expected

I think we were a bit unlucky because we got a room on the ground floor. The room was not what we expected and didn’t match the pictures. There was also some old hair in the bathroom. It’s worth a visit, but I recommend avoiding the ground floor rooms. We asked for another one but it was not possible.

The hotel is an amazing building in a cute town. We checked in late and left very early, so sadly had very little time there. The children staying next to us were very loud, so we had a hard time sleeping. (Not really the hotel's fault, but perhaps the walls are thin) *please note there is no elevator, which could be very difficult for some people.

had a lovely time The staff are always very nice and the breakfast and bar and garden are excellent If you have knee issues its best to ask for a room not beyond the 2nd floor as no lift. On this occasion our bathroom room 301 was rather on the small side for a room that sleeps 3 Otherwise another fantastic stay

What a gem in a great location. The staff was amazing from check in to dining to bar service to housekeeping to check out. Everyone was happy and helpful. If they were faking it they did a great job! Haha. We loved the decor the art and all the seating areas. Thanks to all great management!

Beautiful place, excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Very well located, walking distance to station, restaurants, shops, beaches. Our only complain is that bathrooms are too small and showers are in tub which are not good for seniors. Otherwise, excellent.

A little gem in Sitges

A beautiful boutique hotel that is very affordable and great value. In a historic building with some lovely public areas and a gorgeous garden setting for cocktails. My rooms ended up on the the top floor and there is no elevator - so if you have a lot of luggage or have mobility issues, I would definitely request a lower floor. Centrally located and close to the train station if you are arriving that way. A little gem in Sitges.

I really wanted to love this property. It was recommended by friends who had stayed a couple of times before. On the positive side, the location is excellent, a short walk to everything Sitges has to offer. And the staff were friendly and responded well to issues. Unfortunately the rooms left something to be desired. My first room (#27) was dark and claustrophobic and smelled moldy. Then the shower backed up and flooded the entire room. The staff temporarily moved me to another room next to the lobby for one night which was okay but noisy and not very clean. The next morning they moved me to a room on the top floor which was much brighter and cleaner but it too smelled badly. The housekeeper came and poured something down the drains and the toilet which helped reduce the smell but it came back after a few hours. Also the bathroom was tiny, you cannot close the door when inside it and using the toilet requires some acrobatic skills. If you are over 6 feet tall or over 150 lbs you will not fit in it. There is no lift, which was not a problem for me but could be for others. This is not a hotel for the faint of heart!

Nice decor. No elevator. Ceiling fan was nice to have. The included breakfast was medium. The bathroom was very small made even smaller as the toilet was placed in a diagonal position. The hotel parking was not clear, upon check in we were not asked if we had parking to validate which resulted in us parking in the wrong lot and paying extra for it. Overall, the name speaks for itself medium but romantic.

Near Sitges train station. Very nice hotel, decent beds / clean room, many beatiful paintings, good breakfast til 11am and the bar made good cocktails. I got the top floor w terrace, it is quiet but without privacy. the terrace is share w the next 2 rooms and there is no panel in btw. The doors needs lubrication, the room is small, walk up to 3rd floor, no room for big luggages, no free water in the room. The staffs are wonderful. I like this hotel. Thank you ; )

Below the standard expected

The room was quite shabby as were alot of the other rooms from having a peek when cleaners were in - not in keeping with the very pretty downstairs area of the hotel, its long long overdue some upgrades. There was a constant low frequency humming sound in our room which made it very difficult to sleep. The younger man on reception who checked us in really needs some customer service training as he was quite rude and not welcoming at all. The breakfast however was fantastic and great value. I will say the cutlery, crockery and glassware wasnt very clean though. Be aware that there is no lift and the stairs can be quite a climb.

Nice place, great terrace and breakfast!

This is in the central district and close to restaurants, shopping, and about 7-10min walk to the beach. We stayed in a Quad (1 double and 2 singles). The room was a bit small, but had a huge terrace with table and chairs and two lounge chairs. The nice terrace made up for the small room. The ac and fan kept the room cool. The included breakfast was great, and the courtyard you eat in was lovely; I definitely recommend it. The staff was friendly and spoke English well. Also, this appears to be part of a local chain, Hotel Medium, and there are multiple hotels in town under this brand/chain. Overall, for the price, location, and amenities, I recommend it!
