Charged for something we didn’t break.

There was a broken chair on the patio and I assumed they knew about it since it was broken when we arrived. Noticed it the first time we sat on it. The hotel had the nerve to charge me over $80 for it. We booked 2 suites for our stay and ate numerous meals/drinks at the hotel. They did not treat us right.

Overall it is the 2nd best hotel we stayed at during our trip. It would be the best if not for the so-so breakfast buffet experience. We stayed 2 nights, the first day's breakfast we unfortunately encountered the one lady working as the hostess hat morning who was less than welcoming and didn't even let us know we can order eggs (included with breakfast buffet). She also was so loud and chatty with this other guest who speaks the same language. I also observed how she spoke with another couple who arrived to inquire about breakfast. Her interaction with them, and the language/tone she used was quite rude and dismissive. She pretty much left them hanging and not really providing any guidance at all even though she is the hostess. Thankfully the second day, it was a new crew, and they were much much better and very nice.

Enjoyable stay at Zermama! The room was really nice, feels like you’re staying in a cabin. We happened to be there during a warm period and rooms don’t have AC but you can open windows to keep air moving. However there is construction happening nearby so if you are a light sleeper expect to be woken up around 7am from the noise. Hotel is pretty close to the main train stations, and main road. Overall, I would stay here again!

We booked 2 single rooms & stayed at Zermama Hotel for 2 nights in May23. Rooms: First of all, the hotel was modern. I liked the ambience of dark wood theme across the hotel & rooms, also loved the view from the room's big window, the electric curtain & the rain showers in the bathrooms. Having said that, we found the single rooms were actually too small, I.e. they were the smallest single room we stayed from the 5 hotels visited in Switzerland. Fortunately we only carried a hand luggage each as the room had just enough space to place a hand luggage (definitely wouldn't fit for a large check-in luggage.) The single beds felt like those seats on a plane, very short, where you might have to rest your feet on the window bay if you're taller than 5'11. The room hasn't got space to even place a small table or a chair, so you'd have to put your drinks or snacks either on the bed or the floor. The electricity sockets were also strangely located, I.e. only one socket by the bed. The others were located at the light switch half way up the wall or next to the toilet seat in the bathroom. The room hasn't got air con & it was quite hot, having said that, it was quite chill outside in May so we just had the bathroom window opened all night to let the air in. Location: If you don't follow the Google map, the Zermatt Train & Gornergrat stations are only 5-7 mins walk away. (Otherwise it'd take twice longer). 체르마트역과 체르마트 전망대 산악열차 역에서 가까워서 이동하기 편했습니다. 식당,Bar가 많은 골목이 아니여서 굉장히 조용했고 마테호른 일출포인트인 키르히다리와 도보 5~6분 거리로 가까워서 좋았습니다. 체크인을 도와준 직원뿐만 아니라 호텔내에서 만나는 모든직원분들 얼굴에 항상 밝은 미소가 있었고 너무나 친절했습니다. 체크아웃하는 날 7시 4분 기차를 타야해서 일찍 내려갔다가 7시부터 데스크 오픈이라는 문구를 보고 당황했는데 청소하시는 직원분께 상황 설명 드렸더니 직원분이 데스크직원분께 전화드렸고 체크아웃을 도와주실 직원분이 이른아침부터 저때문이 헐레벌떡 뛰어와서 늦지 않게 체크아웃을 도와주셨습니다. 너무 감사하고 너무 죄송하다고 말씀드렸더니 숨차 하시면서도 밝게 웃으시며 괜찮다고 말씀해주시는데 더더욱 감사했습니다. 룸 청결 상태는 완벽했고 욕실이나 룸 시설을 이용하는데 아무런 불편함이 없었습니다.룸과 발코니의 인테리어도 너무 예뻤고 발코니에는 테이블과 의자,지붕이 있어서 눈이나 비가 와도 마테호른을 바라보며 퐁듀나 커피한잔 즐기기에 더없이 좋았습니다.다음에 체르마트를 간다면 꼭 다시 이용하려고 호텔이름과 제가 묵었던 방 번호를 사진찍어올 정도로 너무 완벽하고 만족했던 호텔이었습니다. 완벽한 컨디션으로 체르마트의 일정에 행복한 추억을 더해준 호텔과 직원분들께 진짜 감사드립니다

We LOVED Hotel Zermama! The worst part of our stay was that we were only there for one night. It was clean, the staff was friendly, it was a great location, and they even provided free transportation to the train station in the morning. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Hotel muito bem localizado e limpo. Dava de fazer tudo a pé. Apenas achamos pequeno e que faltou local para tomar um drink a noite. Porém, a cidade é pequena e não costumam tomar esse drink antes de dormir, então acredito que não tenham hotéis maiores nessa localização tão boa. Super recomendo!
