Basic room in a good location we know you get what you pay for, but another couple in the next room arguing and slamming of doors all night kept us both awake .them to top it off enduring having to listen to the making up the next morning… I think the night porter should of done something about the doors and raised voices

Room very outdated and dirty, the central heating was on high and could not be adjusted in the room, two windows open and 2 fans required to cool the room down which took several hours, in November. Reception staff were helpful with providing a fan. Toilet seat broken, wardrobe hanging on by a thread, too scared to use the shower. Only one power outlet, kettle provided but had to be used on the floor. Evidence of previous guests left on the floor and smeared on the radiator. Rat traps in the hallway and we left with flea bites.

Chose it for it's location. Only good thing about it. The place is outdated. Glad we only stayed 2 nights. Shower was old rubbish. Reception staff, don't want to deal with problems. Asked to change rooms, but the alternatives were worse than the room given. I think visitors deserve better than this. I know it was cheap for London, but it needs a complete refurb.

While the location of this hotel was superb for my travel purposes, I wouldn’t wish my worst enemy to stay here. The room was dirty, with stains of I don’t know what all over the floors, mold on the entire bathroom floor and the sheets did not feel properly washed. I stayed up all night worrying / itching myself because of bed bug scare. I also woke up one night and found a cockroach chilling on the floor. Anyhow, the receptionist was helpful and gave me a new room which was a bit better, but still absolute bare minimum livable.
