A quiet and comfortable stay!

Well-maintained hotel in a lovely country village. The building has been there a long time, but everything was clean and worked well. The hotel restaurant was very busy all the time! I found the food and service outstanding. The local area is full of walking paths and plenty of natural beauty.

Prima hotel, vriendelijke service en mooie comfortabele kamers met Nespresso-apparaat en zelfs een koelkastje. Ik vond het jammer dat je moet reserveren als je in het restaurant wilt eten, op de dag van aankomst was er geen plaats en omdat er weinig andere restaurants zijn heb ik maar wat bij de chinees aan de overkant gehaald... Verder alles prima.

Prima bereikbaar locatie, niet al te ver van Leeuwarden. De kamer waarin ik verbleef was wel gehorig...Ik werd sochtends te vroeg wakker omdat ik iemand in de kamer naast me hoorde douchen. Verder alles naar wens en zeker aan te raden.

Hotel prima, eten simpel....

Service goed, net hotel alleen we zijn van kamer verwisseld omdat het licht niet deed. Tevens eten niet super, brood vooraf was volgens mij oud paas breekbrood, simpel, niet smaakvol. Daarna mix grill waarbij wij 2x een biefstuk hebben gekregen, wat nog niet lekker was. Compleet doorgebakken, word niet gevraagd hoe je het wilt hebben, heel jammer !! Niet goed opgelost vind ik. Dan uitchecken waarbij de nota niet klopt, terug gegaan en geld terug gekregen. Allemaal jammer, niet gewend van van der Valk. Maar volgens mij is dit een simpele goedkope van der Valk. Personeel is wel vriendelijk verder.....
