I was up this area for a family gathering. After I booked this hotel i heard some not great things about it. But they were incorrect. This motel was clean and the man behind the counter was very friendly and informative.

The biggest issue is the price: much too much for the type of room. I have used this property for decades and have booked rooms for people attending our (dog) events. After this last stay, we have moved our business elsewhere. The room was very small for two beds. There was no place to hang clothes. There was an enormous chest of drawers which took up a lot of space. Tough to find an outlet for something I needed to plug in. Curtains didn't completely cover the window so I had glaring light from the parking lot in my face all night. Even though the room had been sprayed with an air freshener, there was a moldy smell in the bathroom. I can drive ten more minutes to North Conway and get a superior room for 30% less, which is exactly what I will do in the years to come.

Not everyone can make their own curtain rods for drapes that don’t fit on the rods. Too many electric cords. Had to unplug refrigerator to run the coffee maker. Neither my husband or I would use the shower.

Bugs in room. Sheets were stained/dirty. We had to keep swinging at little bugs flying in room. We were so tired we stayed in our clothes and slept on top of bedding. My kids would not get in the sheets because of stains. Definitely needs to b updated. Especially for the price we paid

Don’t stay here if you value your sleep. Staff was friendly and the room was clean but that’s where it ends for the positives. On my third night (Saturday) a group checked in next to me and was up all night making noise. At 5am another group of 6 checked in on other side of me and almost backed into the motel in front of my door then proceeded to yell, play music, start chainsaws (yes, they had chainsaws), and they were relentlessly loud directly in front of my door until I finally got fed up and left at 8. I got almost no sleep and felt unsafe, and there to NO STAFF or anyone to call until 9am. They called me back at 9 after I was gone and when I explained what happened, the girl just said “oh, sorry”. Also, I left a do not disturb sign on my door the first day because I didn’t want anyone in my room and they took off the sign and cleaned my room anyway. You get what you pay for here, pay and extra $30 to go somewhere that cares about their guests.

Just stating the facts: tiny rooms, only one outlet worked, the mini fridge froze all of our food in turn ruining it, no water pressure, all outside chairs were somewhat broken. In fact, my 70 year old father unknowingly sat in a broken plastic Adirondack chair and fell right through to the ground. Pool wasn’t too bad.

Loved the 3 bedroom suite, was perfect for our family to stay after tubing with SacoBound, which is right across the street. Also had a pool, picnic tables, a playground, fire pits, etc. outside, which was great for the kids. Overall very pleased with our first visit to this motel.
