8/10 Very good

Great location, close to the center
Happy, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Parking was nearby and was a very good base to walk around and see lots of Munich. Really well positioned and very helpful staff

I think it should be labelled Hostel not a hotel. The pictures on the site have no relevance to the hotel room condition or those we saw anyway. It should 100% be classed as a hostel. Don’t even ask about the bathroom. Stains on every wall in the room the carpets inside and in corridor’s you could shoot a horror movie there easily. Staff very very helpful but the rooms ..

6/10 Good

Lovely helpful staff but room very tired and shower head broken. Excellent location. In need on some renovation but adequate for one night

Only thing that was good about it was convenience to walk around

8/10 Very good

We had a very smooth check in process, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and nicely furnished. The bedding and pillows were down and so cozy. The location is perfect. Cafes and shopping right outside the door. Close to Old Town and transportation. The bathroom was a little outdated, our shower head holder was broken but water ran hot and it still got the job done.

Tried to cancel a reservation months in advance and ended up having to pay every penny for not staying there a single moment.

Very pleased... lovely room, friendly staff.

Lovely hotel in a safe and central area. I had a super room for my stay. The room was very clean, very new, not very big but perfect for a 3 nights stay and I love the large "sunflower" picture on the wall. Very good value.

Last day of Germany

The elevator was being worked on when we checked in, so we carried our luggage 4 floors. The hallways smelled musty. The room was old dingy and needed a lot. No shelve in bathroom and one glass for 2 people.

Fabulous location for an incredibly affordable price. Lovely staff.

Location was ok, outside noisy downtown, but doors into hall were very thin and hallways were quite noisy.

Bathroom wasn’t great, small and outdated and elevator seemed to work intermittently but otherwise room was nice and staff was friendly

Location is key. This is a basic and small room but very close to downtown and a large train intersection. The parking is very very steep and best with small cars. Lovely staff and good price.
Sharon, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

The hotel is in a good area in Munich and walkable to restaurants, the Marienplatz market and a few other sites in the city. And we were able to secure a parking spot on location for 18euros per night. The room was overpriced ($300) for the condition compared to all the beautiful places we had stayed all over Germany. Room is very small, no AC or amenities on site.

Take earplugs. And your own kettle.

Positive: • Bed linen, towels and floor all clean. Negative: • The door to my room was flimsy and ill fitting, the corridors have wood flooring and are very echoey, so I could hear every loud footstep of every other guest who went to and from their room on my floor throughout the night. There were lots of them. • Other guests seemed to have propped their bedroom doors open and were playing loud music and shouting to each other all throughout the first night of my stay. It was impossible to sleep through this, as the corridor amplified everything so it felt like the other people were right there next to you. • No coffee making facilities - you had to go down to reception and make yourself a coffee (charge €2) if you wanted one. (Maybe that’s why everyone was stomping up and down the corridor so much?) • The room was very dated, with chipped walls and paint, rusty and chipped radiators and all long overdue a refurb. •The heating seemed to be permanently on full. To cool the room all I could really do was open the window, and the road outside seems to be the main route for ambulances with their sirens wailing. This didn’t really make much difference as the loud music from the other residents drowned out the sirens for the most part.

2/10 Poor

We were absolutely cat fished on this hotel. The photos look nothing like the room we were provided. Hotel staff was pleasant, however, the elevator was broken for half of our trip, we had 5 bags and were on the third floor of the hotel and couldn't even fit in the elevator with our luggage. When arriving to our room the bunkbeds seemed to be made of Temu material. Very cheap and wobbly, questionable for the top person to be up there. The bedroom window was coated in some sort of dried liquid and you could barely see out of it. Now let's start with the bathroom. The light was a desk lamp that you had to turn a switch on for, the sink would not drain any water so you can imagine it was disgusting and the spout itself was entirely rusty. The shower had no actually "tub" portion to stop water falling out. The "rod" was 2 PVC pipes hanging by a wire from the ceiling and came apart multiple times. The curtain was cheap and hung by plastic rings that also kept coming unattached. When you turned the water on it was so loose on the hanging showerhead attachment, that the showerhead would turn and spray the ceiling. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a comfortable stay, we were lied to by Expedia and expect a full refund!! Photos for proof if they would let us share them!!!!! Unbelievable, especially after a full day of travel and just wanting to shower and be comfortable!!!!

The floors in the common areas are soiled, the room I was in had stains on the floor and felt generally not maintained.
