Very friendly and welcoming staff. We didn't need the kitchen for this trip, but it has a nearly full size fridge/freezer and a stove top with dishes, which is very nice. Rooftop view was great, parking was secure ($30 more, but a day in an open lot is $55), room was clean and had what we needed. Street noise can be heard at night (sirens, etc), but expected in the city. Appreciated being able to walk to Space Needle and Pike's Place for our very brief stay in Seattle!

Breakfast was great but with only ONE staff person doing ALL the refreshing of foods the food items seemed to be out quite a bit because large groups kept on coming…food itself was EXCELLENT, freshly made real eggs, chicken sausage, hash browns, cereals with dairy AND non-dairy milks…very good coffee. The amenities were wonderful including the delicious teas set out in the evenings for all to drink. We only stayed night, and the king suite w sofa bed suited our needs. Very comfortable! This new, spotless and stylish hotel was so enjoyable and quiet. It was impressive even though it’s thought of as a businessperson’s hotel, it had a nice minimal clean line for style. The bartender, Chris, was a delightful spokesperson for the hotel and made us a perfect burger and drinks.

My wife and I were looking to find a nice, reasonably priced hotel for a 1-night stay in Seattle for thrle Seahawks Super Bowl celebrations, and I found the listing for the Element. While I found it slightly odd that there were only renderings of the hotel rather than photos, I discovered upon check-in that the hotel had been open for only a week and a half, and we were likely the first guests in the room we had been assigned! The hotel was very nice, with secure parking, an inviting lobby and lounge area with large seating areas with lounge chairs and tables for hanging out (and some small games set out on the tables, plus multiple types of tasty, complimentary pre-steeped teas available in the evening), and a delicious complimentary buffet breakfast provided. The room was large, spacious, and well appointed. With a couch and full kitchenette, plus a nice bathroom with huge walk-in shower, this room would be great for longer stays as well. While we only stayed for one night, we enjoyed our stay and definitely would book here again.

Unfortunately, our experience was pretty negative. Our rooms were only cleaned once in 5 days after I had complained. We asked for new towels multiple times and didn’t receive. My husband had to roam the hallways finding a cleaning cart for toilet paper when our kids were using the bathroom. At the cost of the hotel, expects would be a cleaned room each day, fresh towels, and responsive service. We were visiting with family and both had the same experience. Breakfast was also difficult- I waited 20 minutes for a fork one morning. They ran out of food early and took forever to refill items. There was a lively courtyard and one helpful staff that supported our using it to grill for our family, but otherwise- I would not say again and was very frustrated.
