Our stay at Gable Manor was very disappointing. We received no check-in instructions (despite being promised 24 hours before arrival) and arrived to find the property locked, deserted, and unreachable by any contact number or emergency line. After nearly three hours waiting outside, a neighbour helped us reach someone to let us in.
We were never formally checked in, the Wi-Fi didn’t work, and the in-room safe had no key. The gate fob failed, and the aircon was set to heat at 26°C. Breakfast was poor — mouldy fruit, limited options, dirty tables, and most food unavailable by the second day.
The property was misrepresented, poorly maintained, and unhygienic. Not up to Hotels.com standards — we’ve requested a refund and cannot recommend this stay.
