Off season is fine but I doubt it's this quiet and nice on season. MB proper too commercial for our tastes but beaches and surrounding areas worth a visit. Especially Surfside, Litchfield, Brookgreen Gardens, Murrels Inlet. A car is needed for these

Love the area. Stayed for 3 months at an Airbnb and a couple of times at hotels. Peaceful outside of main boardwalk and gaming family fun spots. Many things to do. Beaches allow dogs. Very pretty, slower paced, and much cheaper than other towns.

The beach is nice, clean, etc. Lots to do both inland and on the water. We did go carts, went to Charleston (Patriot Point), ropes course, beach days, lots of good food. Overall, a good experience. The area felt safe for the most part.

We were impressed by the number of fine dining restaurants in the area. We had wonderful meals at Thoroughbred and The Sea Captains House. We would highly recommend both of them.

As a Florida girl I'm used to a different beach culture but Myrtle's attractions, dining & beaches did not disappoint!!
"I like that it was an all in one resort. It was a beachfront property with pool and lazy river. It was nice to have a band playing music everynight. We stayed in an oceanview efficiency. We had a great view of the ocean. The water pressure in the shower was very good. No complaints!! I would definitely stay here again!!"

"Had a spectacular girls getaway with my daughter at the Ellie Beach Resort. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Loved the adult pool and the happy hours. Rooms were clean and stocked daily. Would definitely return."
"Lots of pools, tiki bar, and access to the beach. Breakfast was an amazing selection. Only con was room was not ready by 4 pm and we had to wait. Room when we did have it was clean and had cable, a full kitchen (full fridge and freezer, stove, oven, etc. ) with cooking supplies and coffee. For the price, this stay was amazing. Amenities are accessible pre and post check out which is nice. They also have beach towels available to be checked out. Within walking distance of boardwalk. Overall, would return. "
"This is a great resort for a family. Truly a great experience. Live music to the pool, easy beach access, close to shopping. Cant beat it. We will be back"
