Clean room great staff
Susan, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The staff was lovely. It’s a very quaint older hotel that needs some updating. There was no air conditioning
Libby, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Quaint, comfortable hotel in a great, walkable location. Easy onsite parking and close to restaurants, shopping, trails, etc. Nice, big rooms and comfortable beds. I’d stay here again.

Great staff, location, and room décor!

I have always wanted to stay at the Christiania Lodge when I visit Vail. This time we stayed there and absolutely loved it! We will definitely be back!
Cheryl, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The location of Christiania is perfect. It’s a little old but the price for the location makes it so worth it.

10/10 Exceptional

Perfect location. Walking distance from Gondola One - you can wake up 30 minutes before the lift opens and get the first one! Breakfast on site (not included, a la carte) or multiple option nearby. They also have (not included) parking right in front, and great dining and shopping options around.
Mauricio, 5-night trip

Christiania Lodge was the prefect place to stay for our evening at the Vail Ampitheather. Close enough to walk to the venue. Rooms were lovely, pool fantastic and the staff was welcoming.
Jennifer, 1-night trip

Loved this place and would stay here again. Room was comfortable albeit a bit dated, but in relatively in good shape. Close to everything including shopping and dining, highly recommend.
Scott, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Great location, clean and very, very helpful staff. Pool area beautiful, breakfast very tasty and conveniently located. Only negative was that there is no a/c or ceiling fans and we stayed during a heatwave but with fans provided and open windows the room was pretty comfortable as Vail cools down at night. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
Patricia, 2-night trip

Everything excellent, but It would have been perfect to have a better breakfast in the property.

Steps away from gondola one

Have stayed at this property for years. The staff is incredible. The rooms are charming and the location is the best anywhere literally 50 yards from gondola one.
John, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

It is one of the oldest hotels in Vail, actually the third one built. Location can't be beat. Right in the core of Vail next to shops, restaurants and the main lift line.

Charming hotel with character

We enjoyed the charm and uniqueness of the hotel. It was cozy. A little worn in places but that didn’t detract from the experience. The young man at the desk was extremely helpful and sweet.
Jon, 1-night trip

Enjoyed!

First time visiting and I enjoyed every second. Prime location to the village. They even let us check in early! We had the pool to ourselves which was even better! Would recommend!

Memorial Day Retreat

Great value in Vail. Easy walk to Vail Village with shops, restaurants, etc. Quiet, comfortable room. Nice view of Gore Creek. Steps away from Vail Valley biking and walking trail. Friendly Staff.
Kevin, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

The staff was excellent, very friendly and they made our room available a bit early which was nice. The room was a bit dated, found some hairs in the shower and the window blind could not go up or down. But the area is nice very walkable to everything in Vail Village and parking was a breeze.
Scott, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

The pictures are a misrepresentation, the rooms are small and musty (really bad), they do nothing to maintain the rooms, the bathroom fixtures are patched together and the shower head barely worked. Our stay was a major disappointment and we won't stay there again! We wouldn't recommend it!
Mike, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Room was cold!!! Cranked heat and 90 min later, was still cold!!! We had to switch rooms and we were late for dinner party....also, $40 parking fee was a disappointment. This fee was not published on booking
Brian, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

The location is excellent. It's right next to Gondola One. The heating in the room broke and the room was freezing cold. The bathroom made a loud whining noise a few times every night. The room was next to the street so you'll hear people late at night. The water temperature in the shower jumps up and down so you will freeze or burn yourself. To access the outdoor car park you must first walk inside to get a special key which is a bit inconvenient. Also you're not guaranteed a parking spot which is ridiculous if you're paying extra for it. The room is old and shabby but it's cozy.
Thomas, 7-night trip

Great location, friendly staff, and clean room!
Olga, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Be aware, no air conditioning!

Hotel is kept up good but no air conditioning and it was in the 90’s. We weren’t even offered a fan.
2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

A very nice classic hotel in Vail. Probably one of the hottest days in the summer. Nice pool. No air conditioning. Alan
Alan, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

This property is located in the heart of Vail Village, making it easily walkable to lots of dining, shopping, and entertainment options. Everyone on staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped. Our stay in Vail was during a particularly warm time (with temps in the 80s each day), so a fan in the room would be helpful for those hotter days. Our only other complaint was the pillows, which were very flat and probably needed to be replaced. If we ever return to Vail, we would definitely consider Christiania Lodge.
Rachel, 2-night trip
