Very disappointing experience and absolutely not worth the price. We arrived late in the evening, exhausted after a long journey, and unfortunately the hotel was a huge disappointment. The price was extremely high for what we actually received. The hotel was undergoing renovation, the room was incredibly small, and shortly after 6 a.m. we were woken up by loud construction noise from the workers. To make matters worse, even parking was not included in the already very high room rate and had to be paid for separately. It is unacceptable to charge such high prices while guests have to deal with ongoing renovation, early-morning construction noise, and additional parking costs. In my opinion, the hotel does not live up to the standard it claims to offer, and the price is completely unjustified. The only positive part of our stay was the breakfast, which was very good. Unfortunately, that was the only thing we enjoyed. Tiny room, renovation everywhere, noise from early morning, expensive parking on top of an already very high room rate — a terrible and exhausting experience. I definitely would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel.

We came at the hottest day of the year and the window could only be cracked a little and there was not even a fan in the room. Because we needed the window open we were serenaded by music and sea gulls. There is cleaning service only every other day which was not mentioned. The breakfast was the European equivalent of a Hampton inn breakfast. If you have an e-vehicle they do have a charging station you need to reserve for a fee. There is no lift all the way down to the parking area.

Rooms outdated, great breakfast

This stay was somehow like a stay in a ghost town. You feel all the time that Finnsnes's best days are in the past. Same with the hotel. The rooms are clean but very outdated and could use a renovation. The ladies at the front desk are very friendly. Parking is a bit complicated because you need to find your way around the hotel to the back, and then enter through a deserted entrance. But it worked well and it was good to have free parking on the grounds of the hotel. After a night in this outdated hotel room, we did not expect much of the breakfast, but were overwhelmed! Best breakfast that we had on our 14 day trip through Northern Norway.
