there was an error with my booking date and they would not assist al all insisting I book and pay for another night. I decided to stay at Wrights by the Sea, extremely accomodating . Infact last time i stayed at U Studio tgere was an exposed unsafe power point in the bathroom.

I thought that the room was very good. The only criticism would be that there were people staying in the flat above me that seemed to run marathons at all hours of the day and night. Overall, I'd recommend staying at U Studios Paraparaumu Beach.

Was ok, the things i didnt like was the room upstairs had kids crying and a person coughing all night, the spa bath was unclean with brown mold in places cutlery wasnt clean with food still on knifes and forks. But other then that it was alright.

The curtains didn’t cover the windows, the security lights kept coming on and off all night. Poor ventilation, we had one window shut due to missing security stays. The place is very tired

The proximity to shopping was good. The room was nice, but being 64 the bathroom was an issue, the shower was in a spa bath. Very hard to get into and out of. It would be nice if there was a walk in shower. I don't think people my age like a spa bath, they are very hard to get into, and out off. Also there was no place to wash dishes, except in the bathroom sink.

Building was in poor repair and not very inviting. Outlook from the unit into back parking lot and fence.We accepted a disability unit as it was the last one. It did not have any shelving for toiletries in the bathroom, couch was old and carpet not very clean.

Smelly dirty hotel!!

Will never go to that hotel again!! Checking in was horrible along with the room. Smelt so bad was very out dated and broken windows. Pictures on ad were not what it turned out to be. Do not stay here!! Very disappointed and upset as it was too late to change. So had to stay!!

The place was clean comfortable warm and the facilities were great. The room was tired looking and could do with some simple upgrades but over all it was great for what I needed. Would stay there again for sure. Only down fall if families were there that didn’t control there kids with running around, yelling and slamming doors on my last night there. Staff were great and friendly and helpful. Thankyou. 😊

Check in tricky as no one on site unless you ring, had a plumbing issue in bathroom which left us unable to shower etc in the morning so we used the kitchen sink which also had a dodgy tap It was affordable and very handy but don’t expect too much
