Great space but room to grow
Our check in experience was great! Everyone that we came into contact with was extremely attentive. We were told the hotel was working to gain a 5 star rating and we think they have the building to do so, however, overall we did not have a 5 star hotel experience. The room was nicely decorated with a large tv and a king size bed. The room had a cooler but no fridge. Also there is only ice one the second floor, however the ice machine was broken. We were told if we needed ice all we needed to do was call the front desk but this became an issue. Some of the front desk folks we talked to about ice kindly brought it up to our room with no problem. On the other hand others continued to refer us to the ice machines on the second floor (the broken one) and seemed increasingly inconvenienced at our single evening request. We stayed four nights but only had our room cleaned once and only received turn down service once as well. While we thoroughly enjoyed the room cleaning and turn down when we got it the service was inconsistent no matter what time we were in our out of the room. The robes they laid out for us during turndown service were dirty as well. Heads up to anyone staying over the weekend, the club/lounge on the sixth floor is a great experience but if you are not attending be prepared to hear music until midnight if you’re on a high floor. The restaurant downstairs is beautiful, however the food we had was underwhelming and not well seasoned. I have more to say but no space.
