10/10
The pleasant experience started with us getting into town too late to go to a restaurant for supper and not wanting to get groceries. The lobby had a surprise for us -- vending machines with complete meals in it. Lean Cuisine or Stouffers type from meals that were better than we expected.
The room was clean and spacious, with a large bathroom and a ling/office area for lounging.
Breakfast was excellent the next morning with an egg dish like a quiche, plus all the other items we've come to expect from hotels with "breakfast included". They even had salsa to go on the quiche if you wanted, and I did -- it was very tasty!
The king bed was firm without being too firm, and if I were to complain about anything at all it would be the pillows -- they provided 5 for the two of us, which made enough for reading and watching TV, but they were too fluffy for my liking. The were the type that is ten inches thick, but as soon as you lay your head on them to go to sleep, they squish don to nothing. Too thin to use just one, but two together were too thick to be comfortable!
The bottom line for us was that it was a luxurious hotel, but unfortunately, we were there for just one night!
I would book the same room, happily, if we were to be in town for 3 to 5 nights!
The staff at the night desk, and in the kitchen area were all very accommodating and friendly. We did not utilize it, but there was also a bar right in the lobby where the breakfast are was in the morning.
Glad we stayed there!
