Train lovers delight

First i would like to say the staff is very good and the hotel is in very good condition. Now for negative. Carpet in the room felt sticky on my feet. Central exhaust in the bathroom did a very poor job of removing steam or moving air at all. Beds in my room were very hard. And the web site makes no mention of the freight train that runs 4 or more times throughout the night right behind the hotel. For these reasons we will not be staying at this location again.

Room Review

We were disappointed that we were given room 221, which we could tell immediately that there was a strong mold smell in the room. It was overpowering and sickening.There was no telephone so I went to from desk to report it. The staff person followed me to the room and I believe lied,saying he couldn't smell anything.This is so they could still rent the room out without remediation. We were given a different room and had to load up and move. The new room was fine

Hotel was great. Hot breakfast was really good. The pool was closed but we hadn't planned on swimming anyway since it was just an overnight stay. Only complaint was that the beds were not that comfortable. Overall, we liked it and would stay again.

The stay was very nice and accommodating. The room was clean as well As the bathroom. I believe the carpet and upholstery needs deep cleaned and the bathroom needs some caulk work and perhaps a deep clean.

There was no water in the pool at all and it’s supposed to be year round. The breakfast sucked and there was people stomping all over the place.
