An excellent hotel to explore and hike in the Black mountains. Really friendly staff, Adrian the manager was extremely charming and helpful especially with sourcing great wine for us! The rooms are beautiful and very spacious. The grounds are stunning with lovely river walks directly from the hotel. Dogs are very welcome which was great especially as we have an extra large one! We will be coming back

Llangoed Hall - Beautiful Stay

A beautiful stay, friendly service, and convenient parking. Room was clean and spacious. Minor complaint was that the bathroom mirror was too high for my 5' tall wife. Would definitely stay here again.

Hands down the best in Wales

This is by far one of the best places we have ever stayed. All of the amenities of a hotel, with the staff and charm of a Bed and Breakfast. Can’t wait to come back to the UK and stay here again.

What did we like?...EVERYTHING Stunning location with beautiful views, amazing property taking you back to a more gentler time in days gone by, from the moment you drive down the driveway. The attention to detail in our room was impeccable and there was nothing that the staff wouldn't do for you. For a relaxing break away from the norm I can not recommend this place highly enough. Hubby & I will definitely be going back

The staff of the hotel are lovely and will go out of their way to make you happy and comfortable. We ate twice at the restaurant and were thrilled each time. llangoed Hall is unique, charming and and quite reasonably priced.

Room for improvement

Lovely building, delicious food at dinner, slow / slightly disorganised service from the restaurant team. Had to ask a couple of times for the wine list, the wine wasn’t overly cold, etc. Breakfast was average, food wasn’t great and the service a bit hap hazard. The room was spacious, a little tired and worn but comfortable.

Llangoed Hall expectations met and exceeded

Very nice hotel just off the main Road, Beautiful surroundings in the Welsh countryside, Stayed 2 nights in the very luxurious Suite overlooking the mountains and fields around the back of the hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing people, in particular the Bar / restaurant manageress who we had any hours of chats with her in-between her hectic working schedule keeping things running very smoothly at the bar / restaurant end of the hotel, we attended both an evening meal and a Sunday lunch, both of which were made to perfection, in particular the meal was made even more pleasurable by who I assume was the head waiter, "Graham" a young man from South Africa, was very professional whilst waiting on my wife and I, A true pleasure to have met him. Overall, an amazing weekend that is sure to get the batteries recharged for a future visit to Llangoed Hall A true classic of fine dining and luxury .
