We only stayed one night and left at 4am for the airport but our time there was really good. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was amazing

10/10 Exceptional

Nice hotel

Stayed here a few times and it's always been great. The food from the dinner/lunch menu is nice, and the cooked breakfast option alongside the unlimited continental selection offer value for money in my opinion.
Christine, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Room was clean and comfy bed. Felt the bar dining area could do with refurbisment with dirty marks on material chairs. Continental breakfast food should be covered as flies about the open cereal bread etc. Ate out mostly so cannot comment on food.
Ann, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Double bed comfortable; sofa bed not so comfortable. There is room for a proper single bed.
4-night trip

Steven, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Really pleased to have found a pleasant place to stay pre-flight that didn’t charge a fortune. Lovely room with a view of the woodland - just too stormy to appreciate sitting outside! Will definitely use again as they offer blue light discount too.
ANNIE, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

We had 2 single beds in 1 room as a couple, but the place is nice
Sheilla, 1-night trip

Eric, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

We stayed for one night. Property was comfortable, clean and quiet although next to a main road. Unfortunately there was no hot water!
Sally, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Was a nice place with a good location shame it was really hot with no air circulation and spiders everywhere but other than that it was a nice place to stay 🙂
Aidan, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

A very comfortable hotel

Bed was comfortable, large room and bathroom, very clean throughout the hotel. Breakfast was varied and well cooked. Service was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Gardens extensive. No local amenities that I was aware of. Sort of place ideal if just passing through, having a reception or making use of the bar/restaurant.
David, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

the room is large so an armchair and luggage rack would be useful . As well as a large bed (1.60) but everything else is perfect including the restaurant
gilles, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

enjoyable stay

rooms are not setup for women ie no morror over table and nothing to put you suitcases on
Richard, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Been here a few times and sadly to say it’s going down hill, the walls in room was covered in tea stains pizza boxes outside
A G, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

I am disabled and the room allocated for disability is really nice which ones exception the beds are nearly on the floor ! So they need to offer higher beds for those with conditions like mine So beware otherwise it’s almost impossible to get out of the bed. Even wheelchair users can use higher beds than those . Ask for extra mattress to raise height
Trevor, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Short staffed, but ok for a short stay.

The hotel is ok, and it is quite busy, which is a good sign. When we went, there were very few staff on duty (for example at one point there was one person clearing breakfast, serving at the bar, taking phone calls and on reception). The kitchen was suddenly closed on Sunday evening due to an 'emergency'! The rooms are nice enough, clean, and comfortable - but some areas seem a bit run down. The food is basic pub food.
David, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

This place is OK as chain hotels go. The rooms was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The seating was a function room chair which was not a comfortable option for watching the tv in the evening. The food was inexpensive but whilst not unpleasant, the lamb shank and the chips, also lacked any flavour at all. I was served a side dish of vegetables which were unpleasant, prepacked, frozen and microwaved. I understand that hotels need portion control and cost control but at least you could give a chef some veg to prep. I do 100+ nights in hotels a year and the food in this place was close to the worst this year.
