The people were friendly and helpful. The beds and the breakfast were very good It was a bit hard to find the place by car. The bedside lamps were not functioning. Worst thing was the shower: the water drainage did not work. That needs fixing.

Mold in the bathroom,and smelled not good. Restaurant and bar/ sitting area closed in the weekend. This was not informed on the homepage of the hotel. Breakfast was with so few things to choose from so we did not eat the second morning.

The rooms were without any extra's. No coffeemaker no föhn etc. For the price of a single room could have done more. Even the beds were not in a good condition. The breakfast was ok.

The room was ok but extremely warm due to the sun and that they had not had the curtains closed during the day. It was hard to sleep because of the temperature. The carpet in the room was filthy. They served breakfast for 8 am during the weekend which is too late. It is not a place you stay at for the weekend as a holiday, simply a place to stay as you are travelling for business or passing through. It is lokalted litterally next to a major road.

Feedback regarding my stay at A Hotel Roskilde (July 11–13, 2025) I had booked a stay at A Hotel Roskilde from July 11 to July 13, 2025, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. Before check-in, I tried several times to contact the hotel for information, but received no response. After check-in, I found that the room was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned properly after the previous guests had checked out. I contacted both the hotel staff and Hotels.com to request a solution, but was told there were no similar rooms available, and that I could not receive a refund. No alternative room or compensation was offered, which I find highly unsatisfactory. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend A Hotel Roskilde or Hotels.com to others. The level of service and how the situation was handled were unacceptable.

Something out of fawlty towers!

No one at reception during normal hours (5:30pm ish). Recieved keys from a nice young lady, who had booked the venue for a party?! She did not work at the hotel, but was instructed regarding keys and nothing else. I did not show id to get my roomkeys. Rooms were ok, but only towels for half the guest and no hot water. Asked the next morning in reception when we could expect the hot water back, and the answer was "that's a really good question". I didn't feel that continuing that conversation made any sense after that. Breakfast was tolerable, other than both yogurts i opened was mouldy, although they were not expired so dont really know what happened there. This is by far the strangest hotel experience I have ever had, and surprised to find it in my home country

Da jeg ankom lugtede værelset af at der havde være røget. Der manglede bøjler i skabet - da jeg spurgte i receptionen sagde de at jeg skulle spørge nogen af naboværelserne om de havde nogen?! Der var ingen knage til at hænge sin våde jakke på værelset ud over at hænge den på stolen. Skabet var svært at åbne, da trykåbnerne ikke rigtig virkede. På badværelset manglede risten i bruseren?

Det er ikke muligt at få hjælp til tjek in. Det stak en skrue ud af siden på den ene seng. Der er meget lys der kommer ind udefra da gardinet ved døren ikke dækker hele vinduet. Lamperne ved siden af sengen virker ikke. Der er ingen læne stol på værelset. Det stod der var morgenmad kl. 6. Men om mandagen var det først kl. 7. Vi skulle være et sted meget tidligt. Så vi havde booket det efter at vi kunne spise kl. 6. Der er meget støj fra værelserne ved siden af samt vej støj og køleskabsstøj. Så ikke meget søvn denne nat.
