Amazingly convenient for a wedding over at Howick Historical Village, just a 10 min taxi or drive away. Staff was amazing and accomodating and there are two spots to grab food from on the same street. No complaints. Made our trip to the area easy.

While the location is wonderful, the staff were friendly and accommodating and the layout of the villa was spacious, homely and sufficient for our purposes, we were overwhelmed with the musty smell that impregnated our clothing and possessions. The same smell was in another villa we stayed in earlier in the year too.

The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful with all my requests. After checking in to my unit on arrival a bit early (kindly thanks) I needed a bit of help with my bags which seemed to be no problem. Exhausted from my travels I sat on the deck and took in the view. I was 30 mtrs from the waters edge. I looked out at the people walking along the parade, the cars slowly passing and the stream of seacraft entering and exiting the channel, Waiheke ferry, Downtown City ferry, launches, sail boats and foils. What a delightful view Mt Wellington and One Tree Hill in the background. Realising I could sit there for hours I went and checked in for an additional night. The unit itself was quirky American style architecture with sharp angles and corners and likely from the 80's so a little tired now but there do appear to be newer units built on the rise behind. Water a little cold for me this early in the season so I did not venture in but the pool certainly looked inviting. Great food 2 minutes walk away with Cafes and the Chinese takeaways were not dissapointing at all. Over all very gratyeful for a wonderful three day stay and I will be back for sure!! Thank you everyone for all your help!!

Fabulous view of the water but the properties interior is very tired & needs a full upgrade. When I arrived the office was locked & it took a while to find someone to check me in. The cleaner greeted me with a lovely smile but the female Manager offered no smile or welcome & seemed less than impressed I needed help. It could be a cultural thing but she didn’t even show me to the door - very rude. She said I was to park in No.7 carpark & she was parked there! - again no apology. I asked if there was an additional carpark as there were only 2-3,cars in the carpark - again she was most unhelpful. Hours later she banged on the door & said we could also use No8 carpark - again no smile. When I left at 5am there were plenty of extra carparks available so what was the problem? This person should not be in this role as she will drive guests away & you’d certainly never go back.I was in Unit 7 & with no soundproofing it was like a herd of elephants had moved in upstairs - the guests must have had young children. My Family from England stayed here approx 20years ago when it was owned by Barry Curtis & it was fabulous. On the plus side the male owner was very helpful on the phone & offered a 1pm check-in. Thank you.

Nice clean comfortable room with gorgeous view of the ocean. Loved watching the sunset while sipping champagne on the balcony. While the accommodation is quite dated, the kitchen and bathroom has been modernized. Only call out is the bedroom curtain is quite thin, my son struggled to go to sleep with the light shining right in. And the shampoo/soap dispensers were empty but we had brought our own anyway. Definitely would stay here again.
