It was a pleasure to stay at Bunks at Rode. Our room was exceptionally clean and it was amazing to find a place where our family of 6 could be in one room together. The hotel was super convenient to a grocery store and public transportation, and the lady at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

If you want affordable accomodation in Oslo this can be recommended! Of course quite simple conditions, but the room is clean and actually quite big, bigger than standard hotel rooms. There is no TV at the room. The elevators didn't seem to be working all the time. The terrace at the room is really nice on a fine summer day. It is a small distance outside of the city center, but only a few minutes walk to the vibrant Grünerløkka area, and 10 minutes with tram to the city center.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless. The only thing there was not a plug for the kitchen sink to wash the dishes so I had to compromise. All in all I enjoyed my room. It is close to transportation. It’s about a half hour walk into town. The grocery store kiwi was a great store and had everything I needed. And very helpful being right beside it.
