The hotel is located at a quiet place alongside the lake, while you could not reach the lake beach there was no beach there. The staff were very friendly, but the carpet in our room is very dirty. We booked a lake view room but couldn’t see the lake just the trees(maybe the room is in the lower level)

9月末、気温は17度でした。寒かったのですが冷房しかなく、暖房は使えませんでした。高齢の母が一緒でしたので、追加で毛布を借りることになりましたが、スタッフが忘れて持って来てくれませんでした。そのことは残念ですが、景色は綺麗でしたし、食事も美味しかったし、温泉も良かったです。

Idyllisk ved Lake Kussharo

Flott beliggende hotell like ved innsjøen, med imponerende utsikt fra de fleste av rommene. Supert nivå på service. Rent og fint, men de to rommene vi hadde luktet gammel sigarettrøyk (Selv om det nå var forbudt å røyke der). Rikt utvalg på frokost og middagsbuffet, men vi spiste bare på hotellet et par ganger for vi syntes vi fikk mer verdi for pengene på restaurantene i nabolandsbyen (25 minutter unna i bil). Omgivelsene er fantastiske, og hotellet var et godt utgangspunkt for å utforske fjell, innsjøer og kultur i området. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

It is a bit out of the way (you would prob need to drive here which is prob why we thought it was mainly for coach tours) but for a large and well appointed hotel it was remarkably good value for the room itself (which was well appointed with lovely bathroom). We chose not to have breakfast or dinner here as that seemed expensive so made do with what we picked up earlier at a conbini on the way here :). There was a nice games area in the hotel basement and we played some table tennis there. It was a 2 minute walk to the lakeside at the back of the hotel and the view is stunning We were happy we stayed here.
