Good place. Good staff. Transit friendly. Will book again

The property is pretty basic but it seems to be under quick repair given the number of tradespeople I saw in my stay. The staff is awesome, helpful and professional. Do not leave anything in your car though, as mine was broken into. Worth it for the nightly rate.

Staff was really good. Air conditioning wasn’t working.

This was a one night stay to be in Calgary for an early morning interview at the US Consulate. This hotel is perfectly suited for US Consulate visits as it is on the same street. We actually walked the entire way and back as our exercise. The staff is super helpful and professional. I will choose this hotel whenever I have business in Calgary. The rates are very reasonable. Usually you get what you pay for but we got more than what we paid for. If you have some large luggage to haul to your room, I suggest that you request a room where you do not have to climb too many steps.

Clean room, good location.

Hotel room appeared clean and was spacious, with comfortable beds. Only negative was some of the undesirable characters hanging around outside, giving us some concern about the security of our vehicle. Generally really good value for money however.

Convenient location to the transit line. Hotel room was basic and had only a fridge so will have to consider dinner options. Decent size room but didn’t use any of the facilities to give feedback (pool or gym)

The room was fine. There were a lot of homeless people in and around the hotel. The hotel had a horrid layout. No elevator to go

Always clean, friendly staff and easy parking. Only wish it had a restaurant.

The place is clean overall and staff were friendly. The hotel is very outdated and lots of homeless people surrounding the building. We even saw people doing drugs along the building. We picked it due to the price being under $200/night but it definitely showed.

We stopped here before our onwards journey through Canada. The hotel is clean, albeit very tired looking, but the need was super big and comfy and this was all we needed. We didn’t spend much time in the room, but the hotel is in need of an upgrade but with that would come increase in prices so for £70 for the night it was ideal. Theres a few places within 5 minutes walking distance you can go for dinner / breakfast although most are fast food but just something to get you through the day. If you don’t want to pay a fortune this hotel is basic but clean !

Only downfall was no fridge in your room and no hair dryer . Other than that room was good clean and the bed was comfortable. Even A&W across the street and MacDonalds and Tim Hortons about a block away. If you can’t do stairs make sure you book according as some levels you need to use the stairs to access the elevator. I would stay here again .

The hotel is in a safe area and walkable to many restaurants, including the 39th Ave train station, which we took to go downtown and to the Stampede. We stayed two days and no one came to make the beds or change our towels, but other than that it was a great hotel.

The room was clean, check in staff were amazing, parking good! Went to Stampede easy access to Calgary Metro train and only one stop away! The only complaint was there is no elevator to access your room had to carry bags up stairs, but staff did offer to help carry for us! No breakfast available but great rate!

This was my third time staying there, and for one night as well. I love staying there because it’s affordable and it’s amazing what you get with such a an amazing affordable price. The room was comfortable and the amenities were awesome. Plus, the staff were very friendly, chatty and helpful. Love staying there whenever I’m in Calgary, and will most likely be there again the next time I’m in Calgary. Thank you so much for everything.

Room is fine, good enough for a short stay but there is a distinct smell atleast in the basement which was hard to tolerate. Staff is very nice though!

I have a nice experience. The hotel is close to downtown, and I was able to take the train behind the it to go there. The room and bathroom were clean and the staff was friendly. Besides, I enjoyed the swimming pool since the water was warm.

2/10 Poor

This place is a one star. I stayed for 5 days due to business reasons and apart from their location and an excellent front desk male who was very helpful and understanding the hotel is not worth even the cheap fees. They claim they are non smoking and yet, I had actual cigarette smoke entering my room, the smell in the rooms are terrible, the carpet is terribly stained and lifted in the room, high tripping hazard and not wanting to remove my footwear. The bathroom shower and tub were dirty with grime and the tub peeling everywhere in my room. I did ask to change rooms after two days of having the smoke from nearby neighbor to a somewhat improved room, however, it was just as unpleasant with terrible noise coming from adjacent rooms from people have a domestic argument and the other side well let's just say no sound proof. The parking lot has many unhoused folks that getting in later felt unsafe. I would not stay here again despite considering myself not difficult to please or immune to run down properties.

6/10 Good

I have mixed feelings about this place. I can't figure out if its over priced or over depleted. It certainly shows it wear thru out the facility, not only from the room to the actual overall of the facility. The lack of a continental breakfast was disappointing. The parking lot seems to be a corridor for walking traffic and lots of car alarms going off thru out the night. My room had a temporary AC unit which worked sufficiently although a little on the loud side. The bed was clean and comfortable. I am not sure if I would stay again.

Not a great neighborhood, there was some really sketchy people inside and outside the hotel. I was scared to go outside in the evening. Staff were really nice and the rooms were as clean as they could be
