Amazing Riad in the heart of the Medina. Easy to find with Google Maps and no need for taxi or tuk tuk for the most part. The Riad makes you feel like you've escaped into your own private estate in Morocco.

The Riad Karmela property immerses you in the enchanting atmosphere of old Morocco. However, I found its location to be somewhat inconvenient. It is situated in the heart of the Medina market, which can be overwhelming when trying to find transportation, as no cars can enter the area. The service and the hotel workers at the Riad were outstanding.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was so hospitable and lovely. Everyone was kind, helpful and competent. We had an issue with ants or some tiny bugs in our bathroom (also almost 40° C weather) and they made sure to take care of it and make sure we were comfortable.
