What an AMAZING oasis! From the moment we walked in, Arnold at the desk warmed our souls with his radiant smile and very personable demeanor. Ivan in the bar/lounge was just as gracious and poured us several great cocktails. We had a blast with Luis who drove us to a nearby restaurant on the resort property. His English was wonderful, and his stories were welcomed. EVERYONE at the facility was warm and greeted us with smiles. Our room was clean, the views spectacular, and the prices fair. If we ever make it back to Panama, we'll DEFINITELY visit again.

My daughter and I spent three nights here in Feb. We absolutely loved it! The grounds, pools, and beach are beautiful. We loved the Japanese restaurant - and the store on site has a TON of food options. During our stay, we were able to use the cute bicycles to ride around - and we took a van to the Buena entura Zoo too. If we stayed an extra day, we would have done an adventure -type activities (lots of options for fun things to do!).To get to the hotel, we took an Uber from Panama City and the hotel helped us arrange transport to the airport. All very easy. I highly recommend this gem and can't wait to return someday.

There is so much to do on the property and the proximity to restaurants, beach, and pools is great. We took a shuttle to the other side of the “campus” to eat one night. El Valle an hour up the mountain; would love to come again and check out the area more, fishing, golf, etc.

We had a wonderfulr time at Buenaventura and will come again soon. Our only concern was that the property could use some well deserved repairs. The pool close to the hotel was in disrepair and roof tiles were broken all over the property. We loved the El Faro pool area.

We noticed deterioration to pool areas. Beach club is long ways for seniors to get there. Beach area is steep to waters edge ....older people can forget accessing it. The bed was not that good for a 4 star Marriott property. As a previous platinum member I expected better. The shower head needs updating. One last thing the room serviceprinted menu steak price was out of date; it showed $22 yet each yet we were billed $32. When I brought it up to front desk upon check out I was told a manager would have to be summoned who they couldn't seem to find. We had to leave so it never got resolved. We thought performance would be better from a resort advertised elitely.

We stayed at the Buenaventura for five nights and it was spectacular. Property: The hotel and property at Buenaventura is beautiful and very well taken care of. The plants and gardens are cared for daily. The hotel lobby and hotel itself are stunning. As we went in the rainy season (and not high season) they were doing some very minor upkeep projects around the hotel, and in no way did that interfere or affect our stay in any way. Pool Areas: The pool areas were absolutely magnificent, and again, very well taken care of. There are two, the first is right outside the hotel, and the second is about a quarter mile behind the hotel, right in front of the beach access. Every morning we took a walk of the property and every single morning without fail there were multiple employees tending to, cleaning, and maintaining the expansive pools. Food/Restaurants: We ate all of our meals right at Buenaventura in the multiple restaurants on property. The food was great - there was not one thing we had that we did not love. There is a deli and small grocery store in the square right across from the hotel lobby. They have a great selection of pantry essentials if you are staying in a villa with a kitchen. The Japanese Restaurant on premises is very good. They have a very convenient online booking system for booking dinner reservations at all of the restaurants.

Este hotel es espectacular😍😍😍😍 Inicialmente nos íbamos a quedar 5 noches y estábamos tan contentos que termínamos extendiendo nuestra estadía. 1. El hotel queda en un lugar hermoso, con campos de golf, laguitos, zoológico, demasiada zona verde, unas casas espectaculares. 2. Desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos la atención del personal fue excepcional siempre nos atendían y saludaban de manera agradable, cuando necesitábamos algo hacían todo por ayudarnos o darnos solución. 3. Las personas en el front desk eran super amables, quiero destacar a Arnold quien nos atendió y nos dio un servicio de excelente calidad siempre, los meseros todo el tiempo con una sonrisa dispuestos a ayudar y a brindarte la mejor experiencia. 3. Las habitaciones son super limpias, me considero una persona exigente en este tema y en este hotel no tuve queja alguna, limpiaban las habitaciones todos los días en la mañana y en la noche, todos los días nos daban botellas de agua, las habitaciones son super amplias y muy bonitas. 4. En el hotel hay 3 restaurantes todos espectaculares, la comida es fresca y deliciosa y hay otros dos restaurantes que quedan más retirados pero desde el hotel te llevan y te recogen, el desayuno buffet es deliciosooo. 5. Las piscinas y la playa son espectaculares, demasiado lindas y limpias todos los días hacen mantenimiento. 6. El completo es grandísimo, en el hotel tienen bicicletas que te prestan para pasear por todo el lugar, nosotros andamos casi 2 horas en bici

Todo excelente, hemos visitado este hotel desde su inauguración cuando era Bristol y Chiquita manejaba el restaurante y nunca he tendido nada negativo que comentar. En esta estadía hubieron dos cosas negativas, la habitación no tenía agua caliente y en Criollo la comida fue bastante decepcionante.
