The motel is under construction and remodel, but the pool is beautiful and the parking is secure BUT NOT FREE. Be ready to pay $60 for overnight parking, but it is take out of the deposit on the room.

I had a good stay overall. The welcome was warm and very professional, and the host was both personable and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable, and the heated pool was a lovely bonus. I also really appreciated the coffee and fresh pastries in the morning – a great touch! Unfortunately, the experience was affected by other guests being extremely noisy and disrespectful during the night. There was loud TV playing all night, people running in the hallways, slamming doors, and making it hard to rest. Of course, this isn’t the host’s fault, but it did impact the overall comfort of the stay.

Soma House is a good hotel, with a lovely pool. Too bad there is no direct view outside. To turn off the bedside lamp, you have to get out of bed. In the area many homeless and drug addicts, there is 24/7 security at the door. Breakfast was fine. Room was clean.

staff at front desk & security very nice. our room had damages to new sink & black scuff marks on wall. we did get white paint mark on a black back pack when we set on bedroom table not sure when room was recently painted. A lot of construction work. Remodeling. Very cute design. Nice breakfast but not enough.

Convient location with larger than expected rooms and a pool (though San Franciaco weather makes enjoying the pool a game of chance). I was not sure why the hotel promised exclusive pool use through their TV app plus construction was underway thrpughout my stay (an expansion?). I am happy for the accomodation with a kate check out and the luggage storage faciluty provided as well as prompt maintenance. Best feature : Accessibility. Scope for improvement: TV Guide was promising services and lical events that wasn't provided with clarity on booking/reserving.

Had an amazing stay! Got our room upgraded as an anniversary gift from the hotel with a handwritten card in the suite. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, quiet considering the location. Was centrally located to everything we needed to get to. Would definitely stay here again
