We had a great room overlooking the water. It was fantastic to sleep with the windows open listening to the ocean. The staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Having breakfast available every morning was awesome and we enjoyed being in the lounge for happy hour and even after dinner and talking to fellow guests.

The lodge is in a nice location, with beaches on either side. Housekeeping has to be requested each day before 11am, and the towels are threadbare. The rooms and facilities are not clean.

The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. The front dining/lounge room was very comfortable and clean, a great place to read a book or plan the day’s adventure while overlooking the beach and the ocean! The breakfast buffet was delicious and I cannot say enough about how good the freshly baked goods were! Overall, this was the most perfect stay I’ve had at any accommodation I’ve been to and will certainly be back! Thank you Middle Lodge Beach!

Excellent stay and very enjoyable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only issue and i understand that these type of resorts are seasonal so the amount of staff changes however there was not enough staff for the lounge and bar which meatn we couldnt get a beverage for an hour during happy hour and the lounge was closed and did not serve 30 min before closing. other than that i would say 5 stars.

MBL has a beautiful setting. The staff are very nice nice. Breakfasts and dinner options were simple but very high quality - we enjoyed our meals and it was very convenient. Has a good location relative to the town; its a very short drive. We also hiked there and back one day (on the trail) which was great. Definitely would come back.

Great place to stay. Love the morning continental breakfast in the lovely dining room. Only drawback was that the kitchen was closed in the evening when we had understood that there was a pub style menu available so had to go into town to eat after a long day out and about.

The positives: Fantastic location, great view with balcony overlooking sea. Friendly if somewhat undertrained staff. Negatives: minuscule room, barely anywhere to store clothes, very limited breakfast. Also no lifts so lugging bags to first floor - would be impossible for anyone with limited mobility.
