Good location. Not on beach. If using VIP perks, you must constantly be on top of them or they ‘misunderstand’ and do not give any of the perks. Beautiful building. Rooms are loud especially with the may children staying.

To our surprise, the advertised " Beach Front Hotel" was divided in two separate entities. The rooms were on opposite side of the beach hence no ocean view. The beach is NOT swimmable. The pools were great yet too many kids all over. Restaurant food was ok. We paid over $260 a night and breakfast was not included like others. Watch out for umbrella falling on you while relaxing at the pool. Management was attentive after it happened. There are two security personnel who stop the traffic for you to cross the road; 24/7 under heat! Thanks to them!!!!

A great place to escape it all !!!

A great place to stay , on the edge of Lamai , a mile from the centre of the strip. Excellent amenities, beautiful pools. The staff are very friendly and so welcoming, great advice for surrounding areas etc… Also walking distance to Silver beach where the sea is very clear and warm.

This resort was absolutely beautiful. The staff were. Super friendly & helpful and even gave us an unexpected upgrade for our honeymoon. It was a true 5 star resort. Would love visit more outrigger resorts after staying here.

Place was well kept bed comfortable and room quiet.The staff always helpful, pools clean buffet breakfast fantastic.Great restaurants all around you with fresh fish to your liking.The crossing guards had the hardest job so thankful for them so people can go to the beach,Had dinner and drinks the first and last night at Edgewater and the quality of the food and drinks were not there.

Loud air-conditioning

Air-conditioning was way too loud. We swapped rooms but after two nights of no sleep, we arranged to cancel last two nights and went elsewhere. Hotel itself is lovely but if you are one that needs quite room to sleep, find another Hotel. Otherwise everything else was good.

The staff were wonderful, so friendly & helpful especially the waiting staff. The property was lovely & clean but, although I thought I had researched it thoroughly & looked at all the photos I didn’t realise the full property was not on the beach. Accommodation was across a busy main road from the pools, bar & beach. There are staff to cross you over safely but I was still very disappointed when we arrived. The other disappointment was the beach, the small area of sand was full of seaweed & rubbish so we were unable to swim in the sea until our last day. The tide was then changing & taking the seaweed away from the beach & water. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would recommend maybe going later in March/April for the better brach

Absolutely not a 5 star hotel lol. 3*. And not a resort either haha! The main pool is across the main dangerous road, handled by another company. The pictures are extremely old. Rooms and areas are outdated. Broken tiles, dirt marks everywhere. Dining area is all open so all the lovely mosquitoes join you for food. Room floorboard creeks. You only get 2 water bottles per day. Breakfast is standard 3* chain basic food. Staff are lovely and helpful. Cleaning staff can only do so much. Whole hotel needs to be urgently renovated. Rooms smell of damp when raining. Bathrooms exteremly small and icky. Absolutely nothing good or nice surrounding this hotel. Basically like a Blackpool bed and breakfast.

Recently renovated colonial style resort/hotel with large rooms. Staff is absolutely wonderful, some of the many that come to mind are Ice & Kawee, Non & Tom. Beds were very comfortable with large oversized pillows. Towels were thick & fluffy. The resort was immaculate, staff worked hard to keep it exceptionally clean in all areas. Our room faced the pool in the center of the resort, it was never busy. There is a main pool area located across a busy road however the resort has two crossing guards to ensure everyone's safety as they cross the road. This is the resort's main pool & beachfront access area with lots of lounge chairs & a smaller children's pool with a water slide. It's lovely & includes a bar/restaurant as well as access to paddle boards. The beach in front of the resort is ok, however there is a long walkable beach to the right (facing the water) with great swimming. Breakfast is served in a dining area at the center of the resort where all the rooms area in a lovely relaxing area. There were lots of options with several hot dishes, breads, cereal, yogurt & fresh fruit, a grill for eggs, bacon etc. They had (3) coffee machines juices, water & chocolate milk.There was definitely something for everyone. We didn't eat dinner at the resort altho food looked delicious. There are lots of great local restaurants nearby. I used the gym several times while we were there, it was never busy & was open 24/7. There's a nice games room with ping pong, billiards & air hockey.

Nice hotel but way too many children there for me so I left. It was like a children’s breakfast club in the morning and the pool was rather wild lol. You can walk straight on to the beach but unfortunately where we were there was lots of seaweed but if you walked a little bit along Lamai beach it was lovely. Reception staff are wonderful.

Absolutely loved my stay at the Outrigger. From the great breakfast selections to the lovely guys at the road crossing, my stay was perfect. My room was comfortable, clean and perfectly refreshed when I returned from a day by the pool. The manager Uma was always accommodating with any request we had. My 10 nights with friends at the Outrigger went too fast.

Plage tout simplement horrible. boueuse et pas très propre. A éviter pour un séjour "plage". Nous attendions de trouver une superbe plage mais celle-ci était très sale, boueuse et trouble. Hôtel excentré Il faut prendre un taxi ou une voiture pour tout faire. Il faut traverser une route très passante avec souvent une circulation chargée pour passer de la partie "Chambres" à la partie "plage". Heureusement que des agents de sécurité sont là pour aider à traverser en sécurité.

Schönes Hotel aber zu teuer für die Leistung

Keine 5 Sterne Anlage Das Hotel ist sauber und das Personal überwiegend sehr freundlich, allerdings waren unter den Gästen teilweise dubiose Gestalten. Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier ebenfalls falsch. Es gibt überall Kindergekreische und alles wird in einen Spielplatz verwandelt. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Allerdings sind sie sehr hellhörig. Man versteht jedes Wort des Nachbarn. Die Hotelapp ist innovativ aber wir haben zweimal etwas bestellt, das nie ankam. Dann doch lieber der Griff zum altbekannten Telefon. Die Lage des Hotels ist gut. Alles in allem ist es ein schönes Hotel aber zu teuer für das, was geboten wird.
