Great location, no soundproofing.

Great location, well equipped, small room. Great for one person. No parking, fantastic spot if you want restaurants, bars and access to downtown Denver without having to stay downtown. Biggest downside was taht I could hear every footstep, door, and movement of the room above me. Literally sounded like there was no soundproofing or insulation. Rooms have tile floors and all hard surfaces so sound really carries. They have ear plugs and a noise machine on the bedside table, so I’m obviously not the first to experience this. Feels like they went cheap on the construction between floors and you can hear it. Was acceptable for the price, but wouldn’t stay there again personally. If you are partying with friends, it would be awesome. But for a trip where I needed to sleep and work during the day, it wasn’t ideal.

Beautiful facility - difficult communication.

The building and apartment were well-kept, Clean and comfortable. Communication was difficult, as I had to deal with an ai interface and then wait for an hour to get info from a “live” agent. Also, there was no flexibility as to early check-in.

Perfect location. Great place property.

I used to live in Denver so I’m picky where I stay and what neighborhood. This location is one of the best in the city with easy access to downtown and many of the best restaurants. Easy to walk or get a scooter and cruise around. Plus there are no extra fees for parking and there was plenty of street parking which was a bonus. The 2 bedroom unit was super clean and had all the amenities you need. It was nice to have our own rooms for a great price and have our own space and not be crammed in a studio at most hotels. Would stay at a Sonder again and really enjoyed our time.

Customer service and billing disaster.

This is a "no staff" hotel. Everything is online only. There is no parking at this hotel. You will have to find parking on the street and it will likely be a few blocks away. The room was OK, but the electrical outlet in the bathroom didn't work and the sink drain was really slow--brushing your teeth will fill the sink which is gross. Their billing is a DISASTER. I prepaid with Hotels.com and they sent email asking for a security deposit. Fair enough, I paid the deposit. The day of check in, they sent me a non-itemized email request for more money and stated my reservation would be cancelled if it was not paid. I chatted with support in their app and they said it was a mistake and to disregard. Ok, fine, mistakes happen. Then, just after check out, they sent me another non-itemized payment request for $295.I tried chat but they never answered. I found a phone number (took some searching to find) and called. They told me it was an error and to disregard again. I asked for a receipt stating that the booking was closed and they said they couldn't provide that. Now, several days later they sent another non-itemized payment request for $295. I called them and they again said it was an error, but can't guarantee that I won't get any more and can't provide a closed invoice for the stay. I will never use disaster of a hotel chain again.

Paid extra for Mountain Views. Did not have Mountain View’s and the units are noisy. Also they advertise on their website that there is a pool when in fact there is no pool.

Clean and tidy, but too many negatives

Constant banging of loud doors all night long. There is a noise machine and complimentary earplugs in the unit, but they do little to cushion the rumble and shaking of heavy doors slamming over and over at all times of night. None of us slept a wink that night. Additionally, the neighborhood is incredibly crowded with on-street parking, so it was next to impossible to find a spot within several blocks. Given the choice, we would never book a stay there again.

The noise from the AC unit maked with what sounds like a washing machine running at all hours made it impossible to sleep even with the ear plugs that you provided when i seen those earplugs i knew i was in terrible lol. But what made it worse was the most uncomfortable bed i ever slepted in. So sorry but i can only tell the truth. Thanks for your efforts.

We had a great stay at the Sonder Artesian. The property was in a great location, beds were comfortable, and the apartment was clean. As two women traveling together, we felt very safe. The price point was excellent! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a decent place to stay, but don't require the amenities of a hotel.

The room was beautiful. The problem was that the Sonder check in process was very difficult. I had problems accessing my confirmation number because of Sonders computer systems.The keypad was old and hard to input. There were groups of people standing around the hotel’s front door drinking and their presence made checking in stressful—yes there was boom boxes and open alcohol on the sidewalk in front of the hotel entrance. So a beautiful room for a good price, but a challenging check in experience and I was not the only one who experienced challenges. I would definitely not recommend Sonder to a solo female traveler.
