The Hotel Paisano is a beautiful historic refuge in the desert of Marfa, Texas. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms comfortable and clean (although many are small by contemporary standards), and the area around the hotel is quiet yet walkable and interesting. I highly recommend.

All excellent except having to walk up an 18 step flight of stairs asthe elevator wasn’t working. The bathrooms are very small. Nice courtyard and bar. Good food. Would stay there again.

Check in was quick and easy and the front desk attendant was very helpful. The room was plenty spacious for 2, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, but being an older hotel, you can hear neighbors and doors closing, so some kind of sound machine is advised. We were disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open for breakfast.
