Breakfast was great! Menu is different for the 3 days we are there and delicious too. Mini bar (snacks) also provided in the room. But room tv was a little not in good condition not sure if it's the remote control (as they changed battery).

Just had a lovely stay at Bayou Hotel, and although I had some issues with my room initially, the team promptly and professionally remedied the situation which allowed for a great experience.Many thanks to the friendly team and also the tours agent Lily, who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

We had a lovely stay at Bayou Hotel Langkawi for our 3 night trip. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Staff were so kind and considerate, the breakfast was amazing with different options each day, and the room had everything we needed. The pool was lovely and quiet. Location was excellent and central for all our activities. Would definitely recommend to anyone !

Great three night stay at The Bayou. Staff were polite and helpful with check in. We stayed in the Deluxe Super King which was modern, spacious and clean. The little snacks and drinks vouchers were a lovely touch. Air con worked very well with managing the temperature. The aesthetic of the hotel was beautiful and all areas were well maintained. The pool was a great temperature and we never struggled to find sunbeds. View from pool is lovely, especially during sunrise. The food at breakfast was varied. We also ate from the bar menu each afternoon and food service was available from the pool loungers. Only thing I would like to point out is the gym was very small and only provides cardio equipment, with no weights on offer. Overall a great stay, we would definitely recommend the hotel.

Although the property is not a huge hotel, it provides enough space to accommodate its guest. There was enough parking, if you so choose to drive. The staff and service provided were excellent. The staff always did their best to try to communicate with the guest. The place is only distance walk from the beach resort area, and the local shops. Two great restaurants within 50ft from the hotel. Overall, I was very happy about my experience at the Bayou Hotel. I would definitely book here again in the future.

Langkawi

Very impressed with hotel and its staff. The local area seems very depressed derelict buildings, broken up pavements, rubbish not what I expected. The local restaurants were good, basic and very cheap. I enjoyed my short stay but would not return because of lack of infrastructure and dereliction.

Good choise!

Super cute for a couple of days. It is a small hotel which has really good breakfast! Big varity and for everyone something! You can rent for 50 rn a day a scooter to drive around! - A must do;) Gym unfortunatly only for running … no weights.. which is a pitty! Since there is no picture of it and i would have loved to train! Instad of running… Good location you can walk into the streetfood or „tourist-street“ with good restaurants:)

Lovely friendly welcome by the staff and continued to be super friendly and helpful. Hotel was lovely- pool fantastic an great views too. Breakfast was good with plenty of selection. Room was quite small and compact for 2 people. One of our cases had to lie on the floor and no ‘physical’ wardrobe- just a rail with about 4 hangers on so that was disappointing. Shower was great and didn’t want to get out of it. Food and drink were good- did only eat on the first night but was good. Aside from the size of the room we had a great stay here. Many thanks

Cute & Minimalistic

The hotel was minimalistic and cute. The food was not great, but the cocktails amazing. Very boring view of you get towards the parking, make sure you get the view to the other side. Very helpful staff that cares about your experience. The hotel is a little older than it looks from the pictures.

J’ai passé un séjour merveilleux au The Bayou Hotel à Langkawi. L’accueil chaleureux m’a tout de suite mis à l’aise et le personnel a été d’une grande gentillesse, toujours attentionné et discret. Le petit-déjeuner buffet était varié, avec de nombreux choix répondant à toutes les cultures et à tous les goûts. La piscine était impeccable et très bien entretenue. La literie était d’excellente qualité, avec un grand lit king size qui a assuré des nuits très confortables. Le restaurant servait des plats savoureux, généreux et parfaitement préparés. En résumé, une expérience exceptionnelle au Bayou — je recommande vivement cet hôtel et j’y reviendrai avec plaisir !

Wonderful stay, we’ll definitely be back! We had an amazing time at this hotel and would come back. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive and always helpful, whether we had questions, needed information, or just a friendly chat, they were always there with a smile and great service :) The breakfast selection was fantastic, varied, fresh and delicious, with something for everyone. We also rented a motorbike directly from the hotel, which was super easy and affordable, a great way to explore the island at your own pace. In the evenings, we usually ate at the restaurant next door, a true hidden gem! Delicious food, clean, budget-friendly, and such friendly staff. We absolutely loved it. But also the food at the hotel was absolutely delicious, twice a week with live music. All in all, a perfect stay. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Langkawi and are already looking forward to our next visit :)

This place is absolutely beautiful! The staff are super friendly and professional! The buffet breakfast was delicious! The bed is the most comfortable bed I had in Malaysia (and I stayed at 8 different places) The sound proofing from outside/ street noise was perfect 👌 Parking is very close to the front door. It's only a 5 minute drive to the busy Cenang beach. Highly recommend this place!!

Great stay, clean, tidy and comfortable

Very nice hotel, great value for money. Room was super clean and staff were very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Pool area is really nice but the sun does go behind the building late afternoon so best to be there in the morning. Breakfast was a little strange but food was decent. 10 minute walk up to the beach in Langkawi, plenty of food options around also
