Gorgeous hotel on a Gorgeous beach. Spacious rooms, clean, A/C, mini fridge with water bottles. All rooms are about 100 feet from beach. Secluded beach lined with rows of palm trees. A must stay when going to Las Terrenas.

A good choice for Terrenas

A good design, calm and natural environment. Nice and helpful recepcionistes and other employees Comfortable and clean. Only bar prices are a little bit high but the breakfast was really good The sea (ocean); you cannot swim because of the waves but the view was good. And Coson isnt the center of the city so you may need a car for central town

Casa Coson was great, front beach property, playa Coson is a spectacular beach. Joel and Zacharias were great hosts. The room nice and clean, very good breakfast included. I will go back to this place in the near future.

Joel and his team were welcoming and friendly from the start. We stayed in the Mexican cabana, which was unique, wonderful, and very comfortable. The beds were especially great. The beach is one of best we have ever experienced--for walking, swimming, views, and cleanliness. The hotel provided an excellent beach area, with plenty of lounge chairs and shade available when needed. The attached restaurant served delicious food and the drinks were tasty. There are several sweet, apparently well-cared-for dogs at the hotel and we enjoyed their company and their playfulness on the beach.

You get your money worth when renting a room in this property. The beach is more for surfing, for it has big constant waves 24/7. The natural look in the back of the property is beautiful.

This property is on my favorite Beach on the planet. There are always waves for body surfing and the beach is walkable for miles and miles. As for the facilities, the staff are super friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant on-site is superb! There are enough beach chairs for everybody and there is shade available, should you want it. Very much looking forward to returning in the future!

My family and I spent four paradisiacal days at Casa Coson. The place is beautiful and nicely kept. It has such a nice vibe and good energy all day long any day. The staff is friendly and attentive. It has a restaurant that offers delicious and exquisite food. The bar is open till late night. It has fruity, quenching and refreshing drinks. Really nice cocktails! Looking forward to come back!

The service was great. The included breakfast was delicious with different options. We all enjoyed the traditional Dominican breakfast. The beach in this area was beautiful and clean. No seaweed at all. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for quiet and relaxation. Las Terrenas about 15 minutes away offers more entertainment but it is a lot more crowded and touristy. It does offer more dining and entertainment options but not as relaxing.

I felt the pictures were selling a great place, it was a great place, but rooms are a little old. A lot of room for improvements. My stay was good. The staff is amazing and they took good care of us, the pool and bar areas are like new. Beach is few steps away from the rooms. I didn't like the area outside of the Hotel. No security, dark, bad roads. I would come back, definitely.

I have rarerly seen such a dirty property. The kitchen, cook top was the dirtiest cook top I have ever seen. The armrest to the couch was broken. The hot water never worked even after having two guys interrupt our day for two hours "fixing" it. This place is a comedy of errors that will make Fawlty Towers feel like a five star pallace.

We booked our stay at Casa Coson in orbitz for 2 nights and our reservation was for 4 people in 2 room/2 bathroom booking. When we arrived the front desk person made us wait an hour while he looked for a location for us to stay because he said that our original stay was unavailable due to a water leak and flood. He stated the new location was larger and better, but that was not true. It was smaller (1 room and 1 bath). It was not cleaned and covered in mold. The mildew smell was unbearable and because of the holes in the mosquito netting there were mosquitos and bugs everywhere. It had also not been cleaned (see pictures) and was covered in rat feces. The bath had a leak in the ceiling. We woke up feeling a little sick from the mildew smell. The next day at 5pm they moved us to the room we originally booked because they said it was fixed and cleaned. Again we noticed how dirty the place was even after the cleaning. The couch cushions and sheets were filthy, there was animal droppings (see photos) some from mice, rats, and lizards everywhere including on all the dishes. There were many holes on the window screens, the shower drain was clogged upstairs, the water smelled like sewer. We called the desk to take care of the drain but no one ever came. We had no towels, and the upstairs bed didn’t have any top sheet. They gave us one twin flat sheet. After killing hundreds of mosquitos, we were watching TV when a rat entered through a hole and ran across the beam in the room.
