Plaza Inn Regensburg

Checked in and was told the carpark was an additional €10. Nowhere during booking did it say parking had a cost. Not a great start. Also due to poor instructions from the staff, we parked in the wrong place and ended up going into a private block of flats - the garage is underground and is HUGE, and not very well signposted. However, after saying this, the room itself, and the staff themselves, were fantastic! I would very much recommend staying here. It's basically a stopover hotel when driving through Germany, literally a minute or two away from the 3 autobahn. This was very convenient. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was powerful, the breakfast was great, and just the attitudes of certain staff members were superb, making our stay really good. If we are ever in the area again, we would stay here - and now I know about the car parking, it won't cause an issue again, and this was a minor thing overall.

Das Hotel ist in Ordnung, das Zimmer ist geräumig und auch das Badezimmer hat eine gute Größe. Es gibt eine Minibar und einen Wasserkocher im Zimmer. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und bietet sowohl kalte als auch warme Speisen. Was die Sauberkeit betrifft, war das Zimmer sauber, aber ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob der Teppich wirklich sauber war. Was jedoch sehr zu wünschen übrig ließ, war der Service – insbesondere das Personal an der Rezeption. Es schien, als wollten sie gar nicht dort sein. Sie waren unfreundlich, haben den Gruß nicht erwidert und auch kein Lächeln gezeigt. Außerdem wurde mein Zimmer nicht gereinigt – wegen "Personalmangel". Schade, denn das Hotel hat mir eigentlich gefallen.
