Lovely old hotel in petit Venice. Fantastic restaurant on site, L'Echevin. Need reservations. Very small room with tiny bathroom but quiet and clean. Matress for 2 was 2 twins pushed together so you sank a bit near the middle. Breakfast was underwhelming but ok. Service was very good.

The hotel is a lovely old building close to the town centre. We found all the tourist attractions easily accessible on foot. The hotel is about 10 to 15 minutes on foot from the train station.

Our room was cozy, elegant, and full of character, with exposed beams and traditional Alsatian decor that added to the charm. The bed was comfortable, and everything was immaculately clean. We had a lovely view over the canal, which made waking up in the morning and winding down at night feel extra special. The staff was warm, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and offered a great selection, served in a beautiful setting. The hotel’s location made it easy to explore all of Colmar’s Old Town on foot — everything from Petite Venise to the covered market was just steps away. Overall, Hotel Le Maréchal was one of the highlights of our trip. It perfectly balances history, comfort, and charm. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!
