Great stay in beautiful accommodation

Great beautiful accommodation, very clean, big rooms, near city center but also quiet. The owners couple is really great and helpful in anything.

Great location. Helpful owner and really friendly. Good breakfast and even did us a takeaway when we had to leave for an early ferry. Would stay again

Charming hotel

It’s a cute hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and it was pretty close to the puerto. It was a little noisy at night and we could hear karaoke from our room, but it was a cute place with clean water to drink.

This was a great, quaint hotel that was very close to everything but quiet at night. The couple that owns it took great care of us but they do not speak English so be prepared for this. If I ever return I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Breakfast was delicious each morning, Dennis and Lourdes were fabulous hosts. The swimming pool was the perfect temperature to cool off in after a day exploring. Restaurants nearby, Darwin Research centre super close. Very quiet and enjoyable stay. Would return!
Cutest welcome gate ever!

Owner’s son operates the hotel and is so nice and helpful. Gave us restaurant recommendations that were great. When we needed to leave before breakfast, he got up early to make us coffee and provided us with boxed lunch. Very happy with our stay at Maidith Galapagos Inn!

Pleasant stay after check-in confusion.

Nice place, but check-in was problematic. Room was fully prepaid, but confusion with hotel staff and they requested I pay in full again. They eventually figured it out with Expedia (parent of Hotels.com).

My second time of staying at Maidith Inn. It is a uniquely beautiful hotel, Juan is an excellent, welcoming host, nothing too much trouble for him, explaining the area, places of interest. I would highly recomend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maidith Galapagos Inn. Hotel was spotless, room had comfortable beds, lots of space, a large dresser and daily breakfast was excellent. The owner/manager, Juan Carlos, gave great information and recommendations for tours and restaurants. He helped with bookings and saved us time and money on both tours. Lourdes was a wonderful cook and maid with a welcoming smile. Will recommend to friends and plan to return again.

Highly recommend this place... I just had a wonderful stay at Maidith Inn in Santa Cruz. Juna Carlos (the owner) was so helpful with planning tours & recommendations in the area. The place is in a great location, short walk to the main street with lots of shopping/ restaurants etc. Very clean property & a huge breakfast included every morning. I will def. stay here again! :)

We really enjoyed our stay here! Very close to everything like restaurants, groceries, spotlessly clean, comfortable room, great little pool and excellent customer service! Breakfast included was delicious and varied. Juan Carlos was so helpful and we highly recommend. Very good value! Thank you for a wonderful stay 😊

This place was the most amazing and the whole area is so safe. It is sad that America has sent such a travel warning and this place is getting so many cancellations and you are a flight away from even anything even somewhat sketchy… this is like Mayberry please stop cancelling

This super clean inn was unique in its architecture and decoration! Service was impeccable. Lovely breakfast. Quiet and serene. Great place to rest before or after a tour! Highly recommend.

Family of four spent 3 nights 4 days and were very comfortable. Very convenient and clean from white towels and linens, to the most friendliest staff you will ever get at a hotel. The breakfasts set us up for the day, kids were happy! Air conditioner worked great. The owner had thought of everything—- hair dryer, clothes zip line to hang wet bathing suits, beach towels ( you will need to ask the staff for them). We highly recommend booking your stay here!
Elena, 3-night trip

This was a delightful place to stay and we are extremely pleased we chose it for our 2 weeks in Puerto Ayora. Elvira and Juan Carlos were the best hosts one could ever ask for. I Can think of nothing to critisise the Inn or staff about. It was so quiet, comfortable and hassle-free staying there. We had some lovely chats with both our hosts during our stay. If we ever return to the island we will automatically be staying with them again.

Wonderful, magical space. Piqueros: Perfect room for our extended stay with two kids-10yo daughter and 13yo son. The owners are amazing. Connected us to a tour company to plan our stay before we arrived. The owners arranged our airport picks-tour of the highlands/turtles on the way in. The driver delivered our bags while we feasted, learned about the turtles and explored the highlands. Totally recommend. The breakfast were fresh and wonderful. Two block walk to all the restaurants and very close to port-completely recommend!

The owners are the most wonderful people in the world. The took care of us from start to finish without a flaw. Always made sure we had everything we needed including transportation to and from the port and the airport. The rooms are huge, beautiful and impeccably cleaned. The Location is perfect. Close to everything but still in a quiet street. I would recommend this hotel to everyone that wants to come with their family to the Galapagos. 5 Stars with 5 star service.

We loved the "boutique" look and feel of Maidith Galapagos Inn. Juan Carlos was so helpful and hospitable offering advice and recommendations, making taxi reservations, etc. The room and premises were clean and well maintained. Everything we wanted to do was within a 20 minute walk. We walked to the beaches at the Charles Darwin Research Center, to the pier where you catch the water taxi to Tortuga Bay Beach, the fish market, and many shops and restaurants. I would certainly come back!
Jennifer, 2-night trip

Maidith Galapagos Inn is a unique and spectacularly kept island retreat. We stayed as a family of 4 and enjoyed the gorgeous stained glass, carved wooden details, and colorful mosaics of the inn's design. We appreciated the variety of bountiful breakfasts, and especially enjoyed the pineapple jam. The pool was perfect after a day of siteseeing and snorkeling. Elvira and Juan Carlos took excellent care in communicating and helping us plan things that our group would enjoy. They set up drivers, walked us to specific tour guide sites, and always wanted our feedback in order to help others. This place is a gem in Santa Cruz in every way!
Staci, 4-night trip

Absolutely fabulous stay! The rooms were clean and spacious, and the hosts felt like family. They made us fresh breakfast every day and had awesome recommendations for the island. I would only stay here every time I come back to the Galapagos. The hotel was an oasis from the town, it was quiet and offered a nice pool to cool down in after a day of activities. The hosts could not have been more helpful; they connected us with transportation, activities, restaurants, and even medical care. Always available, informative, and we’re always looking out for me. They supplied lots of free safe drinking water, and our room even had a fridge. The inn itself is beautiful, comfortable, clean, and in an excellent location in Puerto Ayora. We could walk to everything. By far one of the best hotels I've ever been privileged enough to stay at. The gorgeous building, beautiful colors, and breathtaking interior have a wow factor! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The atmosphere is very family-friendly, and they are so warm and attentive! Their recommendations helped make my first time in the Galapagos unforgettable. Highly recommend this beautiful & welcoming stay!
