Staff very friendly and helpful. Complimentary selection in the reception area of tea/coffee, biscuits, sweets was a nice touch. Hotel in general was very fancy and from the moment you walk in you know you are going to have a good stay. Room itself done what you need it to do, nicely decorated and had a canal view which was nice. My only fault which is a personal preference, the bed was too firm for me so never got much sleep but this also would not put me off staying here again. Very nice Hotel.

This charming and beautiful hotel is located within walking distance to a lot of sites. The staff is very friendly and the room had an excellent mattress and pillows. We had a lovely stay here from Saturday to Wednesday! We had a canal view room with lots of windows to watch the water go by, it was a nice size with a great bath/shower. Staff were helpful and friendly. Only issue we noted was rooms were often cleaned later in the day, on one occasion we arrived back to the room around 2:30/3pm and it had not been cleaned yet and we were getting ready the for an early dinner so room couldn’t be cleaned that day which was disappointing. Otherwise and overall a good location and nice hotel!
