This hotel is not located in the city center and doesn’t have a luxurious feel, but it’s very convenient — there is an affordable public parking lot just across the street and a supermarket right next door. It’s well-suited for those traveling by car or using the tram. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed a pleasant stay in the family room. Although the hotel offers breakfast, we opted for a hearty breakfast at the bakery café next door, which was excellent. Considering the price, the quality of service, convenient location, and the added bonus of a sauna and gym, we found this hotel to be a great value.

Hotel muy nuevo, un poco alejado del centro de Friburgo pero muy cerca de parada de tranvía que te lleva en pocos minutos al centro. El desayuno bufet estaba bien. Nos gustó especialmente por disponer de habitacion familiar bastante amplia, con literas muy espaciosas y cómodas. Echamos en falta una nevera en la habitación.

Modern und haustierfreundlich - empfehlenswert

Schön und modern eingerichtet, Personal bemüht. Außerdem scheint das Hotel sehr haustierfreundlich zu sein, es waren viele Hunde zu Besuch. Nur vielleicht für Allergiker eine relevante Information. Das Superior Doppelzimmer ist sehr komfortabel und geräumig. Einzig die Parkplatzsituation war auf den ersten Blick enttäuschend. Als wir angekommen sind, gab es keinen einzigen verfügbaren Parkplatz auf dem Hotelgelände. Dann wiederum hat sich herausgestellt, dass es in der Nähe ein Parkhaus mit kostenfreier Stellmöglichkeit gibt, das war dann doch positiv. Insgesamt betrachtet ist das Hotel aufgrund seiner günstigen Lage und des schönen Erscheinungsbilds absolut zu empfehlen.

Leider war es durch eine Außenbelüftung sehr laut im Zimmer, so dass man nicht gut schlafen konnte. . Des weiteren blitzte jede Nacht ein Licht auf. Kaputte nachttischlampe wurde leider nicht repariert, trotz mehrmaliger beschwert.

Überwiegend positiv - gab aber dann einige nervige Sachen. (Zimmer 424) Positiv (und das wichtigste): Personal ist freundlich, Zimmer waren groß, sauber und hell, Bett war auch i.O. Und dann kommen wir zu den Kleinigkeiten, die nervig waren: Tiefgarage: Kostet 18 Euro/Nacht (teuer, aber noch OK). Die Einfahrt ist erst nach dem Checkin möglich, da man dazu die Zimmerkarte braucht. Auch noch OK - es gibt nur keine Parkmöglichkeit (außer absolutes Halteverbot wegen Feuerwehrzufahrt) um mal eben kurz den Checkin zu tätigen. Der Parkplatz ist dann fest zugewiesen - da kann man dann Glück oder Pech haben. (P:93) hatte den Nachteil, dass man Rückwärst rein musste, damit man selbst und der Nachbar ins Auto Ein/Aussteigen konnte - dann ist der eigene Kofferraum aber hinten an der Wand ... Schränke: Im Zimmer gibt es Schränke, zwischen die man sich stellen muss um diese zu befüllen. Da hätte man auch die Öffnung in den Raum zeigen lassen können... Kühlschrank: Bei 180Euro / Nacht (inkl. Frühstück für 2. Pers.) erwarte ich eigentlich einen Kühlschrank im Zimmer um mein Wasser/Lebensmittel zu kühlen. Gab es leider nicht. Schalldicht: Die Zimmer werden mit Schalldicht beworben - das sind sie auch bestimmt zur Außenwand hin. Dafür hört man jede Person / Gespräche die über den Flur laufen. Frühstück: Es gibt Hinweise wann Hauptandrang ist. Wir waren beide male gegen 09:35 Uhr da und es gab immer was, was fehlte - ganz schlimm war Samstags: keine Brötchen/Brot mehr.

Das Frühstück war gut, die Mitarbeiter waren sehr aufmerksam, dass alles schön hergerichtet und aufgefüllt war. Das Waschbecken im Bad war kaputt, in der Dusche war Schimmel, die Tapete löste sich neben dem Bett von den Wänden. Die Lüftungsanlage war so laut, dass ein Mitarbeiter sie ausschalten musste, damit wir schlafen konnten. Das Nachtlicht an einer Bettseite ging nicht und wurde, trotz Hinweis an der Rezeption, bis zu unserer Abreise auch nicht repariert. Im Bad ist ein Hinweis, dass zwecks Umweltschutz nur auf dem Boden liegende Handtücher gewechselt werden, unsere wurden jedoch täglich gewechselt, auch wenn sie aufgehängt waren. Der Aufenthalt war bis zum Ende des Wochenendes angenehm ruhig (Einhaltung der Ruhezeiten 22:00 Uhr - 6:00 Uhr etc.). Ab Montag reisten andere Gäste an, die die Möglichkeit zur Erholung während der Ruhezeiten leider extrem erschwerten. Sehr negativ war, dass man vorab keinen Parkplatz reservieren konnte, wodurch man quasi gezwungen war, den teureren Tiefgaragenparklatz des Hotels für 18€/Nacht zu mieten. Der war nicht nur sehr eng, sondern auch an einem Tag doppelt belegt. Wir finden, dass das Hotel seine 4 Sterne nicht wert ist und werden aufgrund der oben genannten Punkte in diesem Hotel keinen Aufenthalt mehr planen.

Gefühlt entspricht das Hotel eher drei Sternen. Positiv hervorzuheben sind die moderne Ausstattung, die Sauberkeit, das hilfsbereite Personal sowie das Frühstück, das täglich bis 11 Uhr angeboten wird. Einige Punkte empfand ich jedoch als verbesserungswürdig : Es gibt keinen Kühlschrank bzw. keine Minibar, keinen Wasserkocher und keine Duschhaube (auch auf Nachfrage beim Personal nicht verfügbar). Zudem ist das Frühstück im Verhältnis etwas zu teuer, die Tiefgarage sehr eng, und trotz eines "Bitte nicht stören"-Schildes kam es zu Störungen durch das Reinigungspersonal. Diese Aspekte sind zwar keine zwingenden Voraussetzungen für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel, werden jedoch in vielen Häusern dieser Kategorie standardmäßig geboten.

Bisschen mehr Komfort wäre schön gewesen

Wir hatten ein Superior Zimmer, da hätten wir mindestens 1 Flasche Wasser und eigentlich auch einen kleinen Kühlschrank erwartet... Saunapreis pro Zimmer zu hoch, wenn nur einer von zweien die Sauna benutzen will. Ansonsten alles ok. Schön ruhig und angemessen großes Zimmer.

This is a brand-new property: quiet, spacious, comfortable. Staff is outstanding: courteous and attentive. The location is not easily walkable to Freiburg’s old town but the tram is a block away. Highly recommend!
