Lovely stay in beautiful Junior Suite. We would have loved to have had regionally-produced snacks and beverages available complimentary or for purchase in either our room, or in the lobby--I would have spent money on a minibar, if given the chance. Our breakfasts were excellent -- hats off to chef, who also went out of her way to make us sandwiches on nice French bread in our boxed lunch. Dinner at the restaurant is a bit hit-and-miss. The duck was terrific. Other entrees were so-so, e.g., e.g., trout, chicken. For us, the clientele demographic is a bit old and staid -- though we're in our fifties and sixties, guests felt a bit stuffy. We would recommend the Bradstan to older friends with plenty of spending money looking for a couple of quiet nights in the country, but we'll seek out a somewhat -- only somewhat -- livelier setting, next time.
Let me say again: the room itself was really terrific, and the staff is excellent, professional and very friendly, qualities we highly value!
