I was very tired from the trip from New Orleans, connecting in Cancun, and needed to rest for a moment. The manager didn't want to check me in before 3:00 p.m. He only wanted to store my suitcase. It was a little annoying because I've stayed in other hotels before, and they gave me the opportunity to give me the room earlier because they weren't full.

The elevator works great. The staff that check you in was not friendly and barely acknowledged us. But the car attendant staff was super great! Our room was basic, pretty standard, but the lobby was beautiful. You have to put a room key in a slot in order to turn on the air and the lights. So that way, when you leave have to take your room key, you cannot leave the air or the lights on. That was strange, but it worked out fine!

This property should NOT be advertised as a 4 star hotel, it is not. It's a shame, because the building is historical, the rooms need a remodeling, not enough outlets, the shower is scary. Now, the staff in the parking garage super attentive, as well as the maids, but the guys at the front desk are super rude, specially the young kid working generally at night, I checked in on Friday the 2nd around 8 pm and the young gentleman at the front desk it made it seem like I was inconveniencing him and he could not wait to sit in the corner checking his phone. The next day I needed a taxi in the morning and the second guy at the desk said they may not come in because they're doing work in the side streets, even though there's still access to the hotel, customer service for these two guys is not their thing. I would not go back to this property.

En general la experiencia fue buena, desde te recibe personal del estacionamiento con mucha amabilidad, la atención del personal de recepción fue rápida y también muy amables, el único detalle que tuve fue que la chapa electrónica de la habitación no funcionó bien, tenía truco para abrirla y como el hotel estaba lleno no me pudieron cambiar de habitación, para mi no fue un gran problema. De todo lo demás nada que reclamar, habitación limpia, camas suaves y cómodas, con aire acondicionado silencioso y eficaz, no tuve la mejor vista del balcón pero aun así fue muy buena, el baño limpio si olores extraños. La alberca disponible y bueno, me gusta mucho este hotel y trataré de hospedarme ahí cada que visite Veracruz.

Muy deteriorados los cuartos el 501 no funcionaba una lámpara y nunca la arreglaron no pudimos usar el closet por una gotera de agua dentro de el closet que nunca atendieron en el cuarto 505 en el pasillo una fuga de agua del techo descubierta super desagradable la alfombra del pasillo toda mojada y nunca arreglaron nada tambien bajo un banquito del cuarto habia bichos muertos muy mal olor a ratos etcétera

Average Hotel, but great location

Room was clean but worn. Okay for overnight stay which is what I utilized it for. The lobby was clean, but the carpets in the room floors should be replaced and were not vacuumed. Outside bar was good. I would stay there again because I liked the location in the heart of the city; will look for other accommodations also.
