This resort has both good and bad sides. The property itself is beautiful – the pools are amazing, the beach is nice (though not the best), and the restaurants serve good food.
However, the service was very disappointing and absolutely not what you expect from a 5-star resort. Only about 15–20% of the staff were attentive and polite; the majority were slow, unhelpful, and sometimes outright rude, even when asking for something basic like water. Service in the restaurants, bars, and buffet was extremely slow. One restaurant requires reservations, but in the others, we waited up to an hour just to be seated. Even at breakfast, we had to wait to be seated, and the hostess was often missing from her station.
Another big issue is that they don’t provide bottled water or straws anywhere on the property. For a luxury resort, this is unacceptable.
Housekeeping and room service were also very poor. Our room was not clean upon arrival, and throughout our stay service remained slow and unfriendly. The steakhouse was the worst experience – the hostess (Tasha) and her manager were unprofessional. Despite having a confirmed reservation from the feedback department, we were told we didn’t have one and were placed on a waiting list. This felt dishonest and was by far the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a resort.
