The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. It’s a perfect place to relax. The attached bar and restaurant are the best in the area. Reservations for dinner are recommended. The dinning room is small so the reservations fill up. It is also a good central location for exploring the north coast and highlands.

This hotel was awesome. Comfortable, beautiful building in great condition. The food was excellent made with fresh fish, local food, homemade. We walked into the town easily. The neighborhood was so nice. Coffe tea and snacks in the room. It was first class.

Spent 2 nights at Fife Lodge so we could explore the east coast. Staff were friendly on arrival, rooms were lovely not long been refurbished tastefully and of a high standard very clean with tea and coffee making facilities with complementary bottles of water and lovely biscuits which was a lovely touch. We ate both nights in the Lodge the food was excellent and plentiful first class service and plenty choice. We had breakfast included i. Our stay which was excellent cooked breakfast cooked to order, toast, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit also available. We really enjoy the hospitality of everyone and will definitely return again.

Refuge from the rain

We booked an overnight stay with the aim of attending an outdoor Shakespeare production at Duff House. However, it poured with rain all day and we decided to forego the tickets while the players performed to an audience of 15 bedraggled spectators. A king room, but de luxe? Hardly

We had a lovely, big and airy room. The king bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food, particularly the breakfast, was excellent. There were problems, however. On our first day the plumber was in and out of the bathroom as there were water problems. Later the room went cold (the plumber had switched off the heating and left it off). The next morning the shower barely dripped. Later, there was no water from the hot tap. Eventually it did come out but was cold! Not exactly the de luxe experience we were expecting given the price paid.
