Robotic/No Staff/Hotel mechanics often don't work

While the room was clean, most of the utilities did not work and all we could do was punch in a code that often did not work: Air conditioning would not go below 25C and windows do not open; Water took 25+-Minutes to warm up; Electrical outlet by bed for charging often did not work; Elevator caught us for almost an hour until another guest opened it; The neighborhood is not in Central but about a mile away through area not to walk safely; On a parking lot with a bar and loud shouting and dancing until very late; and I could go on and on. On top of all that, the only communication is via text to Berlin, where over 20 texts asking for help messages were not understood and not fully answered by a Robot program. It was as if a rogue Hal from 2001 Space Odyssey was in charge.

Really nice room. The check in was a but clumsy (there is no reception and I had a couple of gliches) but I forgive them because the room was very nice and welcoming, simple but full of small personal touches and comfortable.

Professionally run and seemless service even with no staff on site. Everything seems new; it is spotless. Communication was excellent. If I'm back in Brussels this is where I will stay.

Rooms are nice; cleaning staff is really efficient. But no onsite representatives make it frustrating. 8 day stay with no service to room. Communication with Numa was robotic and texting was a nightmare. I believe you can find much better options for the price point and better location.

We put our luggage in the lockers after check out and when we returned we couldn't get it open. We called the number in the email for help and someone was there to help us in minutes. The location was excellent! The room was clean and very nice.

No hospitality

This is a digital only hotel. If you book through Hotels.com the check in process is horrendous because you need a number from the hotel to get in and Hotels.com doesn’t give it to you. You have to call up a call centre in India to get the check in link and then fiddle around on outside the hotel trying to photograph your passport in order to get in. If you have any other issues the only way to resolve them is through engaging with a completely useless chatbot

The rooms are a good size. Bed very comfortable and linen clean. Bathrooms also very good size. The location is very convenient. Check in was a little bit of a nightmare, as its all digital and no front desk at actual hotel. Fortunately their online team were responsive, and we were able to rectify the issue. But i had spent about 30 mins in the waiting area. There was no cutlery in the room to make tea / coffee. I also did not realise that there is no housekeeping service. So i had to make my own bed. I may have missed this detail when i booked so i was a little surprised. The hotel has a no smoking policy, but it was very clear other guests were smoking in their rooms. So the corridors smell of cigarette smoke.

A real shame

Starting with the good - the hotel was lovely and the check in process was seemless. There were complementary snacks and drinks in the room and good quality teas and coffees. Due to the lack of reception desk, you could help yourself to provisions from the laundry room if you ran out. If it hadn’t been for our bad experience, I would have given the hotel 10/10. Our room had bed bugs and I was bitten about 50 times over 2 nights (we saw about 5 in total so not an infestation but enough). We were moved to a new room for our third and final night, and thankfully this room did not have bed bugs. I can appreciate that getting bed bugs is outside of a hotels control as anyone could bring them in, but trying to deal with all of this through an automated WhatsApp service and email due to there not being a reception desk was painful. I was offered a 50% discount on one night and managed to get this for the second night too, but the stay should have been refunded in full in my opinion as it ruined my holiday and has caused me days of suffering. I’ve also spent a lot on medicines and will likely have to spend more over the next week as bed bug bites are torturous. And not to mention how I am having to clean everything (inc bags, shoes etc) to ensure I’ve not brought any into my house. It is a shame this happened as the hotel was lovely but I have to be honest about the bad experience I had. Hopefully the room will be treated and no one else will have to suffer like I am.

El hotel está bien, la localización es muy buena, pero sólo limpian la habitación una vez a la semana si la estancia es de, al menos, 8 días. El día de la llegada, me escribieron para decirme que tenían que recolocarme en otro hotel. Finalmente, se debió todo a un error y me quedé en el hotel original. Me dijeron que me iban a dejar en la habitación un detalle por las molestias, pero no hubo nada.

F1 Weekend

I did not get any mail prior to arriving with any instruction or confirmation code to get the online check-in going. This resulted in almost an hour spent figuring this out. Mostly because there were no one to contact except by chat. And I was required to download WhatsApp, setting up an account etc. as well. After finally getting in, I tried to take a bath, but after an hour of filling the tub it was barely any water and it was luke warm at absolute best. So no water pressure or heat. The shower worked for some reason, both with hot water and pressure. Then we wanted to use the tv, but getting a "no signal" on the HDMI I was supposed to use to get to cast. I was promised that someone would check these issues out, by two different operators - but none of the issues were resolved. There is no sign that anybody came at all. In addition the bathroom and toilet had a moldy smell. On the positive side, when we finally got the access codes this system worked flawless. The beds were comfortable and the room looked nice. If you only need a place to sleep and take a shower, it will suffice. But for the price we paid I can not recommend it.
