Wonderful, quiet place to stay!

Wonderful property and a fantastic location within the area. Easy access to the train that goes to Garmisch as well as the Eibsee and Zugspitze. Not as busy of an area as Garmisch which we enjoyed. Great amenities and restaurant.

Good value for money close to both Zugspitze and Garmisch Classic ski areas. The village of Grainau is nice to have a walk around and they also had a cozy Christmas Market organized in the village.

Location of this naturally superb and breathtaking. Old and rustic building very well maintained. Could provide a few more comfort to guest by providing a kettle with tea or coffee sachets, iron box with ironing table and a small fridge.

Stay away.

Read the other reviews - they are false advertising their rooms. The room and bedroom pictured will most likely NOT be what you get. Pros Close to train/hiking Pillow Cons Room not as pictured Room received had very gross stains - cracks, etc. Parking is a nightmare Way overpriced

Really bad service in the restaurant, the staff are ignoring the guests and outside smoking and talking to each other instead of doing their job. Understaffed in the reception as well

Breakfast is great, amazing location to some great trails and get free bus passes for the days you are at the hotel which is very convenient. The property itself was great though would not want to stay there during the heat of the summer as there is no fans or A/C. Supposedly accept VAT forms but failed to do so and the gentleman at the front desk when I was checking out didn’t even know what I was talking about. Delayed while he searched for the paperwork for about 20 minutes. Paying the taxes was not the issue, it is I was told they accepted the form to remove the taxes and they did not follow through. Overall, would I tell people to stay there, yes! Just set your expectations and enjoy!

Amazing day! The staff was the best part. We asked for an ice machine, but they don’t have them at hotels in Europe. A very nice staff member immediately helped us and ran and got us ice for our water bottles for the day. Went out of his way. Amazing place to stay!

Panorama Top, der Rest geht so

Die Aussicht vom Hotel ist echt Klasse!! 4 Sterne Hotel ist es aber nicht wert.Das Personal gerade beim Frühstück war sehr überfordert und auch teilweise unfreundlich. Was ich nicht verstehen kann das es nur selbst aufgebackene Brötchen gab, für diesen Preis erwartet man frische Brötchen. In unserem Zimmer waren die Fenster und Gardinen schmutzig, haben uns auch beschwert, es ist uns versprochen worden, dass sie gereinigt werden, war aber nicht so.Die Zimmer sind Renovierungsbedürftig. Das Hotel glänzt mit seiner Super Lage, das Abendessen war wirklich lecker. Im großen und Ganzen ist das Hotel zu teuer!!!! Das man für den Parkplatz 10,50 Euro bezahlen muss, finde ich auch eine Frechheit!!! Als Service könnte man kostenlose Parkplätze anbieten.

Bra läge. Utmärkt frukost. Rummet i varmaste laget (kyla hade varit trevligt). Omedelbar närhet till järnväg med tutande tåg var såväl charmigt som störande (inga tåg nattetid som tur är). Vi var på genomresa och hann bara me en kort vandring...

Kommer ofta hit

Vi har bott många gånger på detta hotell och kommer alltid tillbaka. Enda minus denna gång var utsikten rakt in mot en annan byggnad samt trängseln vid frukosten. Sen är det fånigt att det kostar över 10 euro att parkera bilen ute på landet, långt ifrån centrum. Allt annat utmärkt. Mycket god frukost med mycket att välja på. Stor trivsam inomhuspool.

Essen gut und reichhaltig, auch abends. Service sehr gut. Sauberkeit sehr gut. Hallenbad top. Zimmer sind teilweise etwas renovierungsbedürftig, Betten/ Matratzen sind aber neuwertig / sehr gut.

Überfordertes Personal im Restaurant

Das Zimmer war okay, der Service war gemischt. Im Restaurant gab es unerfreuliche Erfahrungen. Der schöne Biergarten durfte nicht zu Frühstück genutzt werden und schloss abends für Abendessen sehr früh- angeblich wegen Kälte die es aber nicht gab. Alles sehr merkwürdig………

Wir hatten ursprünglich 3 Nächte gebucht, letztendlich haben wir 1 Nacht verlängert. Alles verlief problemlos. Die Rezeption ist hier sehr hilfsbereit. Das Hotel ist mit Hund sehr zu empfehlen. Hundenäpfe + Leckerli wurden bereitgestellt. Das Personal (Alle Mitarbeiter) ist sehr freundlich. Leider hatte die Bar zur „Endstation“ zu. Auch die Bewirtung im Biergarten endete meistens gegen 18 Uhr, da das Personal vermutlich dann im Restaurant benötigt wurde. Das war schade.
