A very nice family holiday place

Caravan was basic but perfect for our weekend stay, everything we could have needed, very clean and the welcome pack - dishcloth, tea towel, washing up liquid and bin bags - was a welcome touch. Loved how close we were to the beach. Great food from the Sands Bistro and the outside bar area was perfect for enjoying the wonderful weather and watching the amazing sunsets.

A brilliant holiday

We stayed for 4 nights at the holidays park . The chalet was spotlessly clean, it had everything that we needed for our stay. A nice touch was the pot with the washing up stuff etc and a pencil that had a special end on it that you can plant (our is a herb) to remind you of your stay. The bed was really comfortable too. We will definitely be visiting here again.

Great accommodation in Hayle

Our chalet was quiet, separate from others and secure. Facilities offered were great and the food in the beach restaurant was great. Best part it was out of season and we thoroughly enjoyed our 7 day stay. The town of Hayle is about 2km away and there is a Liddl supermarket about 300m down the road from the chalets. Lots to do in Cornwall and distances are not great. One or two improvements that could be made in the chalet are provision of a bathmat and explanation of why a plug for the kitchen sink is not provided. We will recommend St Ives Bay Beach Resort to or Australian friends.

We had a 'value' unit which was as expected. Nothing to grumble about but certainly no frills. Basic but comfortable bed with adequate bedding etc. Sofa was less so. Quite uncomfortable.

Good place for a family holiday

We had a family break in a chalet. It was spacious and mostly very clean, but with a couple of things that had been overlooked (under bed/sofa cushions, in the oven, chests of drawers). The fact that most things were absolutely spotless made this quite surprising. There are also some ants, which seems to be a problem they are aware of. Staff were generally very friendly and helpful, but it took a while to get some things sorted. The location and facilities are very good and we would happily go back.

Absolutely loved our Caravan stay. This was a major highlight of our 3 week trip. We loved being so close to the beach and a short drive to St. Ives for a day of shopping and a true Cornish pasty (well half of one because the seagulls are savages!). We took our 6 month old son for his very first swim at the pool, which was a great memory. No wifi in the caravans which is a slight bummer, but apparently there is wifi at the bar so you could download movies onto and phone or iPad if you felt the need. Nice to have a kitchen to cook in, as we had done a lot of hotels up until this part of our trip. There were no towels in the unit when we arrived, but one quick call to the office and they delivered a bundle within 5 minutes. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay in St Ives Beach Resort

We stayed in the 2-beds chalet for 4 nights while touring around Cornwall. The place was great, we were a bit concerned after reading some reviews but the accommodation exceeded our expectations, all the staff members were very nice, it was clean in the chalet, and around the resort. The beautiful sandy beach was within walking distance. Although we didn't attend any of the organised evening entertainments (just not our thing), we could see that people were enjoying it. Great thing was that Lidl was "just around the corner" so if you decide to make your own breakfast/meals, food shopping is not a problem. The only minus for us (some of us was relying on roaming) was the lack of WiFi in the chalet, and the only place where it was accessible was the bar. All in all, an excellent place to stay and we will definietly stay there again if we ever come back to Cornwall.

Very average stay

No WiFi, poor parking space next to our Caravan, no towels included and tiny tiny single beds which are not suitable for adults at all. Unfortunately to say it was quite uncomfortable. Sadly will not be returning. If we had paid any more than we did, I would be extremely disappointed and complaining further.
