The Biggest Bed I've Ever Slept In.

I had a wonderful solo trip at the Alexandra Hotel in Kos. I'd booked a single room but was upgraded to a suite and had the largest bed I've ever slept in. The hotel has a real 80's vibe which I loved. Especially the quirky lifts. The staff were a delight and super friendly from the reception, to the waiting staff to the cleaners. All so helpful The room was fully air conditioned, had a private balcony, kitchenette area and clean bathroom. I'd highly recommend it.

Disappointing

Disappointing for a 4star hotel. Disappointing that it is policy not to have double beds. The hotel is looking dated with fairly tired towels and cheap soaps etc disappointing that no bottles of water provided. Just not 4 star service or facilities.

We stayed here for 1 night as a stopover before going to the hotel we would be spending the rest of our holiday (michelangelo hotel). As a stopover hotel, this was fine but I was very glad I wasn’t spending my whole holiday here. The bed was quite hard and uncomfortable, the room was very basic but had a lovely view overlooking the harbour. As other reviews have said, the bathroom is very outdated (think Grandma’s bathroom!), however it is adequate and I was able to have a comfortable shower. We didn’t have breakfast as we preferred to check out local places in Kos since we were in town already. The hotel allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel after checkout but be warned that there is no actual luggage room, we just left it tucked away by the reception area; gladly the luggage was still there when we returned a few hours later! All in all, this was an adequate hotel for a stopover for 1 night; it’s in a central location and the room is comfortable enough, although the bed was too hard for me. I’d rate this hotel as a comfortable 3* rather than 4* as I would expect more comfort and luxury from a 4*. I would probably stay here again as a stopover but not as my main hotel (having said this I’m used to 5* standards so perhaps I was expecting too much from this hotel!)

Gutes Hotel mit schönen Hafenblick

Wer in diesem Hotel ein Zimmer mit Hafenblick hat, wird richtig zufrieden sein. Das Familienzimmer war ganz OK. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit. Hervorzuheben ist vor Allem die immer gut gelaunte und immer sehr freundliche Frau vom Zimmerservice. Zusätzlich zu ihrem fröhlichen Wesen, hat sie auch ein super Job gemacht. Das Zimmer war jeden Tag super Sauber und roh frisch. Mit Hafenblick ist das Hotel auf jeden Fall sehr zu empfehlen.

The air conditioning was not turned on for the building, so our room was too warm. We slept with the patio door open instead, resulting in a strong tobacco smell. Staff was very helpful in general and the room was comfortable otherwise.
