Cozy stay in a great location. Unfortunately the staff isn't trained to handle food allergies at the breakfast buffet. I communicated with staff prior to my stay to notify them of my Celiac disease and asked for accommodations at the breakfast buffet. When I asked a staff member to serve my breakfast from the back kitchen area she informed me that all food was considered contaminated with gluten and unsafe for me to consume. I was very taken aback by this and frustrated that I had no breakfast option during my long stay

Hyatt Place is always a great option when visiting Gainesville. It’s close to restaurants and walkable to UF. Breakfast is always good. Parking is a challenge but valet is available.
