The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of LA, within walking distance of The Grove, great restaurants, and everything you’d want to explore in the Fairfax/Mid-Wilshire area. The mid-century vibe gives it that perfect touch of Hollywood nostalgia, while the rooms are clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for being so central. The staff was friendly and helpful, and parking was a huge plus. The attached Swingers Diner makes mornings easy — great coffee, good food, and a laid-back local crowd. Overall, it’s the perfect mix of vintage charm and modern convenience. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish, affordable LA stay.

Beautiful swimming pool

Everyone who worked at the front desk had great hospitality and we’re very helpful. The valet guys were quick and friendly. I loved the feel of this hotel, it is family owned, and you can tell that it is loved even though it is a decades tradition. Beautiful pool. And it was heated.

Hotel was not new but was ok, cleaning done in each 3 days, room was big enough but the wardrobe and bathroom were in the same place so we couldnt store our clothes inside (it was open) the staff was helkpful and friendly also valet service was very good
