Clean, safe and friendly staff

This hotel is near all the activity and offers clean, comfortable rooms. The front office staff is delightful. Our room was located around the back with parking directly in front of our room. It was a very safe location. Great stay!

This place is great! It's very centrally located right on the main strip. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. This was our first time staying here and we already booked again for September. They have a nice pool with seating and poool floats. They are still doing updates and plan on redoing the suite they have on the top floor. They just started having a hot breakfast recently. We tried the biscuits and gravy and they were delicious. Rooms have cute reteo microwaves and a mini fridge.

Beds very very firm

Attending a conference just down the highway so this was just a one night stay. Super clean. Love the updated room. Staff were friendly and helpful in every respect. I’m gluten and dairy sensitive so having eggs and potatoes available for breakfast was nice, although seating was ridiculous. Took my food to room. Bed was very firm with no foam topper of any kind. Hard on my hips. Got a good value on hotels.com or I wouldn’t have even considered this hotel.
Rhonda, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

We booked this motel because of the pool and it did not disappoint. It was like a big bathtub because the water was so warm it was amazing! The WiFi worked amazing, front desk staff was amazing, one of the people cleaning almost growled at us, no smile, no good morning nothing but she was the exception. Rooms were clean, my bed in a two queen was comfortable although the pillows were terrible and the quality of the linens wasn’t there for the price per night. The other mattress needs replace as our son fell off in the middle of the night because the side is so broken down. Location is great. We loved that we could see forever far from the top floor and at night you could see all the lights so that was cool. We got $20 to spend in the gift shop so our son loved that. This has the potential to be an amazing place to stay with just a few upgrades.
Mandi, 2-night trip

4/10 Fair

Unfortunately we were not impressed at all by the property like we thought. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and we contemplated ending our trip early because my family of three couldn’t get sleep due to noise from the pool and there had to be 50 minimum of motorcyclist in the pool from Friday to Sunday and we couldn’t get in until Sunday night and the pool had large patches of floating hair and trash in the pool. I’m just really upset we spent $300ish that we work hard for but don’t have anything positive to say at this time.
KATRINA, 3-night trip

2/10 Poor

Can’t put lipstick on a pig

Its name is retro - which is a fancy way to say they didn’t update anything from when this used to be a $15 a night motel. Just because you use a fancy logo, cheap shower curtain and a lava lamp doesn’t make up for the LOUD ancient air conditioner that wake you up whenever it turns on, the crappy drapes that let the light in and they have lights turned on 24 hours a day RIGHT outside every window or the ancient spring mattresses that jiggle like jello because they are so over used. We left a day early because it was so bad but didn’t ask for our money back because they clearly need the money badly
Patrick, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Rest room too small to be comfortable. Nothing to hold onto getting into tub for shower. However, Staff, very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and pleasant. Breakfast area almost non-existent. Not good for colder weather. The two chairs in room were not comfortable.
