After many visits not sure we will be back !

Stayed regularly previously. Had a gift voucher for afternoon tea. We always loved the pool but it was difficult with the new policies- guests now pay a staggering £25 each to use the pool but they also get less access than day visitors having a spa - access at 7 am till 9 am ( on holiday !!) or in the evening - made it difficult to fit in afternoon tea ( which we previously would have done on day of departure) and dinner ! Had to leave spa early ( after paying £25 for two hours ) to run to dinner as dining room closing !

Great Spa but rooms need updated

We booked as a spa night away as birthday gift for my partner. The spa was absolutely amazing however it is not clear on hotels.com that this is not included in your stay, it is an extra £25 each which is disappointing to not be included. The room was quite small and needs renovated/TLC with chipped furniture etc. The room was very hot with no AC but when we opened the window we struggled to sleep due to a very noisy fan generator thing outside of our window. Overall I would come back because of the spa being so good.

It was lovely, unfortunately the spa & pool were closed. The hotel upgraded our room which was lovely some areas could be doing with a new paint job as there were a few scraps on walls & furniture. We had a lovely meal & enjoyed a few drinks with our voucher. Staff were fantastic, very friendly.

Good Scottish hospitality

I stayed for 2 nights & the service given & room were top quality. I would have preferred a room with a view over the bay, but to be fair, I didnt ask as only there a short while. Great location, I used the driving range, but sadly no time for a full round. Particular credit to Martin, who served me in the small bar & had a great knowledge of whisky, so much so I went to Glengoyne for a guided tour.
