Wonderful stay. Ulysses Hotel is very well appointed and comfortable. Blooms bar is not the greatest, questionable hiring tendencies. Would recommend the stay.

The Ulysses was a wonderful place to stay, with a great location. Easy walk to many historic landmarks in Mt. Vernon, and walkable to the harbor/Fell’s point if you are okay with a longer trek! We enjoyed the unique and quirky atmosphere of the hotel, clean room and lobby, and welcoming staff. There were many great dining options in walking distance, and the train station was only a few blocks away, making it convenient to take a quick day trip to DC! Would certainly stay again and recommend to friends or family visiting the area.

Loved the unique decor of the hotel, restaurant and lounge. The staff here is exceptionally friendly, helpful and accommodating. Had an issue with the room next door leaving a barking dog unattended for hours. The staff offered me a room change for the next day, which I accepted but I wish pets allowed by the Ulysses were restricted to certain floors, like they do at other hotels.
