8/10 Very good

Spacious but not quiet

The hosts were kind enough to arrange taxi service from the airport for a price. They also let me into a room much earlier than the typical check in time. The room was spacious and hotel conveniently located. Unfortunately, for the last 4 nights the guest next door blasted his music for the whole street to hear, from as early as 4 pm and as late as midnight. This made getting good sleep those nights impossible. I had to ask if the host could talk to them and they did, but I shouldn't have had to ask.

4/10 Fair

Very inexpensive, so I had low expectations—but this place underdelivered in almost every way. Cold water for showers during our four day stay, staff kept insisting there was hot water, we let the water run for more than 20 minutes, still cold, bear in mind Cuzco mornings are chilly. Breakfast was always served late, powdered coffee, stale bread, one egg….not worth waiting for. Very loud to be on ground floor
John, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

Felt very safe and secure on the property. Close enough to walk to the square. A little loud at night from traffic. Hot water upon asking. I clogged the toilet twice. :( bed was a tad hard but okay over all.
Ryan, 4-night trip

6/10 Good

The hotel was extremely clean and well-kept. The location was excellent. We found it a little frustrating because the water seemed to be turned off randomly. Also, after a few days of luke-warm to cold showers, we discovered that we had to ask for the hot water to be turned on. The breakfast was minimal and it was basically the same every day. It would be nice to vary it a little.
7-night trip

6/10 Good

Good location but not the most comfortable stay

The family who runs this place is very nice and the location is great. However it has some issues: 1) it does not really have a 24/7 front desk. There is a doorbell but you would be waking someone up. If you come back to the hotel late in the night you have to rely on someone undoing the padlock to the front door to let you in. 2) there is hot water but you have to ask for it. The hot water does not last a long time and can be inconsistent. 3) breakfast is very minimal
3-night trip

2/10 Poor

Beware. Although the advertised check in time is up until midnight, they turned us away when our train arrived to Cusco late (and even though we arrived before midnight). First the management told us it was the wrong address, then they said they didn't have our reservation. We ended up wandering the streets of Cusco during high tourist season going from hotel to hotel for half an hour until we found a room. Unprofessional and uncaring.
Cynthia, 3-night trip

First, they advertise complimentary airport transportation, well not really. Is a taxi and you have to pay. We showed up after paying for a taxi, and the employee told me my reservation was for the next day. Second, hot water is non existent. The water comes out luke warm, and even after you ask them to turn up the heat, after several minutes, still luke warm. After a day doing a tour trust me, hot shower is a must. The complimentary breakfast is good. You get bread, jam and butter, coffee and a smoothie.

2/10 Poor

Tudo extrem
